One of the many services provided to you by the Master Librarian in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was strategic advice on bosses the player has already defeated. The nice thing about this service is that it is not just text; the player actually sees a recorded video of the boss being beaten. However, one must remember that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was a rather easy game. The developers, realizing this, decided to mock themselves by having one of the strategy videos not star Alucard. Instead, the video showed a simple Axe Knight in Alucard's place.
The question is, which boss had the dishonor of being destroyed in this fashion?
A. Karamusan
B. Darkwing Bat
C. Olrox
D. Granfalloon
E. Cylla
F. Akmodan II
G. Medusa
I'm 99% sure about the answer to this one, but I'd like to see if someone else can get it.
I usually like to have a good idea for the next question ready, but I can't think of one yet. :|
All right, I suppose I'll answer in that case...
I believe it was F. Akmodan II
In the event that I'm right, here is my question:
Which of the following weapons will allow you to do a special attack when you have two equipped, one in each hand?
A- The Sword of Dawn
B- Heaven Sword
C- Runesword
D- Murasame
E- Holy Sword
I'm glad I was right. Perhaps I need to clarify my question a bit, because when I reread it now it sounds vague to me.
The special attack I am referring to is performed when the circle and square buttons are hit at the same time (when there are two of these swords equipped, one in each hand). I hope this is a bit less vague.
Perhaps I will post the answer soon, as I hate to see this topic remain dormant.
venus, did you have any luck with finding the answer yet?
And the answer is..... the Heaven Sword.
The Heaven Sword is a rare drop from the Cloaked Knights in the Inverted Clock Tower. If you manage to get two of them, you can use a special attack. By pressing both attack buttons, you get a pretty cool swirling sword attack thing. It's quite hard to describe.
Anybody have a new question they'd like to ask?
Alright. In Castlevania Circle of the Moon, which feature was missing that seperated it from several of the others in the series?
A. The medusa head that froze you on contact.
B. The choice to do a second runthrough with an alternate character.
C. The option to equip different kinds of armor and accessories.
D. The different types of subweapons.
That is how I would answer too! I haven't played it in a long time, but I seem to remember just having different variations on the same character, not a different character entirely. I could be wrong, though.RockmanSRDYeah, that's why I said "process of elimination." Counting normal Nathan, there are 5 different variations. I've only played with normal and magician modes. But Magician was a lot of fun. I really liked playing around with the DSS effects, as I only got about 50% of the cards which didn't include the awesome Uranus card for summons. But, back on topic, I would consider those extra characters, but we just have to wait for steff3121 to get back to us with a confirmation.
EDIT: Answer has been verified.
Konami Computer Entertainment Kobe (KCEK) developed some of the Castlevania games. Question is, of the following listed below, which one did they NOT develop?
A) Castlevania Chronicles
B) Castlevania 64
C) Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
D) Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness
Great question! It looks like I'm going to have to plug my N64 back in to figure this one out. :P
I wish I had an A/V selector so I could have more than one system hooked up at a time.
All right, this is pretty much a complete guess because I still haven't had a chance to hook up my N64. I'm pretty sure that the logo at the begining of Circle of the Moon is the same as both N64 games. Also, the one I don't have is out of those games is:
A) Castlevania Chronicles
I'm going with that as my answer.
That'd be it. Castlevania Chronicles not only doesn't have the KCEK logo, the title screen specifically says "Copyright Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo". And don't feel bad about not having it. In retrospect, that game wasn't worth the money, but I was Castlevania-starved at the time. All right, this is pretty much a complete guess because I still haven't had a chance to hook up my N64. RockmanSRD
That's good to know. I've spent a lot of time looking at auctions for Chronicles, wondering if it was worth of the money or not.
Onto my question... It might be easy, I had a hard time thinking of something good!
Elizabeth Bartley, who appeared in Bloodlines, is inspired by which of the following?
A- She is a completely original character, drawing no inspiration from any source.
B- She is a composite of many female vampire characters.
C- She is inspired by Elizabeth Bathory, The Blood Countess.
D- None of the above.
*Ding*
You are absolutely right. That is really interesting about Bloodlines, I guess I'll have to look out for more historical references in it the next time I play it.
Sorry about the delay. Part real life interfering, part lack of creative ideas.
Above is a clipping of Dracula from the box art of a Castlevania game. Question is, which one?
A) Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
B) Castlevania Chronicles
C) Super Castlevania IV
D) Castlevania 64
Ok, two for the price of one. What is the most powerful armor (highest defence) in Castlevania : Dawn of Sorrow ? A) Eversing B) Dracula's Tunic C) Demon's Mail D) Death's Robe E) Olrox's Suit How can you get it ?Mandator
Eversing; you find it in the waterfall area by either flying up and shooting a wall section or jumping down and hitting it with a weapon.
Alright, here goes. According to Konami, which of the following games has been removed from the Castlevania storyline? (IE the game exists, but the story is not part of the series); this may be subject to debate, but 1 is definitely removed
A. Castlevania Simon's quest
B. Castlevania Circle of the Moon
C. Harmony of Dissnonance
D. Lament of Innocence
I'm pretty certain it's B. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.
I've always had mixed feelings about removing games from their respective time lines.

I'm pretty sure this could go two ways. The answer I was looking for was Lament, but I think this is correct as well. I'll look into it; in the mean time, post your question.
All right, thanks! I could be wrong, but my memory tells me it was the four games before Harmony that IGA removed. That would have included Circle of the Moon, both N64 games, and one other game that I can't think of at the moment. Anyway, on to my question!
The Buer, an enemy seen in Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, is. . .
A- One of the 72 demons evoked and captured by King Solomon, as documented in The Goetia.
B- A demon that is said to have many legs (often more than four).
C- A Guardian-type soul in both Aria of Sorrow and Dawn or Sorrow.
D- All of the above.
Absolutely right. A is one you probably wouldn't know unless you've had to research the Ars Goetia before.
You are more than welcome to ask a question.
