For the inaugural post of this thread, I'd like to bury the hatchet with Elbert. It was getting a little drawn out, so let's just agree to disagree, and I respect your opinion.

Not me. I had a hard enough time keeping up with the orders when I was the bartender for the Gotei 13.

But when we get one, let him/her/it know that I want a scotch on the rocks.

EDIT: I recently purchased Konami's New International Track & Field for DS. Pretty decent. Kinda like Mario & Sonic, but better. Plus it has 10 secret characters form other Konami games, including Simon Belmont. :P Others include: Frogger, Pyramid Head, & Solid Snake.

also, i got a couple minute ban on MGO. i left a game/round cuz i had to leave for class but when i quit it took me to the login in screen an i was wondering why. i tried to get back on and i couldnt do it with my character. it seems Konami has implemented a rule stating that if you frequently leave mid-game you will recieve a ban(from 10-30 minutes on how often you leave) and they take deduct levels too.

i gotta wait six hours for my classes to be done to go home an check that.

also, FRIDAY! G.I. JOE!! but i might be going to San Antonio to visit a buddy. the Air Force sent him there to set up a training hospital for medical units so we are gonna chill after 5yrs

G.I. Joe was pretty good, i cant remember all the different stories and version of the characters from the comics an shows. I even like the bits of the corny-ness here an there cuz it was like the show.

fun note...i remember in one story, Cobra Commander used to be a used car salesman. amazing how in America, you can become anything you want.

but friday, my buddy from my earlier time in japan was on TDY in san antonio so i went down there and picked him up to bring him to Austin when he finished his medical training stuff. we watch G.I. Joe and then went downtown to go clubbin...alot. crazy night

we got home at 4am and i woke up at 8am...good times :P

haha, yeah i know what you mean. that why i hate it when multiple games come out at one time/and or i have enough disposabl eincome to get them. you start playing one game too much and ignore the others, or you play them back to back and mess up on things like controls, etc.

Today I bought Assassin's Creed at EB. You know, this has to be one of the few times I actually felt that legendary pushiness that everyone seems to experience at Gamestop/EB. The only variable to when I normally go in there, is that it was at Crossgates Mall, not my usual trek to Rotterdam Square Mall. This guy was kind of rude, too. I said, "Um, hey." while he was organizing PS3 games, and said "Hang on!" in a low, but annoyed voice. Then he tried to push all that crap on me like pre-ordering, which I told him I couldn't due to my only having $22.00 (the game costed $19.99).

Anyway, enough of my ranting. The game isn't as good as I remember it being when I rented it two and a half years ago, but it's still pretty cool.

Assassins creed made me want to stick that missing-finger-sneaky-assassin blade into my head. it was awesome but got weird an somewhat repetitive(therefore, sort of boring). it seems like the other one is looking better but gotta wait and see if it is an improvement.

i picked up Battlefield Bad Company the other day, i only played it once at a friends house. this is the ONLY game i own where i am i total noob online. i think its cuz i play with my friend and his sister an they are higher ranking...so i end up playing against vets. i do enjoy the story though, its pretty funny here an there an pretty unique. and its also an EA game too i think...i guess they dumped Medal of Honor finally for a better game. that franchise/series fell off the shelf after Frontline(the one with normandy and a submarine)

The thing about Bad Company is that it's a spin-off of their Battlefield franchise. The big difference is that this game has a strong single-player component, which every Battlefield has been missing, as those games were designed as multiplayer-only experiences.

yeah, my first BF game that i owned was BF2...an when i popped it in i was surprised there was no single-player. same with BF 2142. but adding a story made it really great, Haggard cracks me up.

i think i want to pick up BF 1943 now. I have been reading about it and its seems REALLY good and its only $15 on PSN.

an Medal of Honor is still around? WOW. the last one i bought was...one where you had a squad...and...the first mission you had to take an entire harbor. thats all i remember.

I finally got to play Left 4 Dead yesterday. Played survival first. Looked around, nothing, then turned again and there was hundreds of them. Totally freaked me out. XD

Fun game though. :P

i think i would get an xbox360(as heretical as it sounds for me saying that) to play left 4 dead. all of my buddies play it and it just seems awesome. i think if i get a fast enough laptop i will buy it, or the second one they are making. its also good to know that there is a real zombie killing game still out there *D*MN YOU CAPCOM!!!

I say if you want to get a 360, get one. The only people that hate the console, and would tell you not to are just acting like fanboys. They don't break down anymore, and there are a lot of good games on the system. Give it thought, but try not to be swayed too much. I'd love to have you on my friends list.GreggD

360 mostly is junk there is 3 or so good only 360 games but with microsoft bad customer service and 360 being badly made console its not worth it in my mind, best getting a computer for same price as a good 360elbert_b_23

I LOVE RPG, but the moment the point more to strategy track *pulls hair* specially those that are like a board or those that you have to send your soldier or so on, is like I do not feel the one gaming :lol: Oppona got my attention in the past, but I guess that atm I have too many RPG waiting for me.

@chang, you know medical stuffs? and for anyone who may know. can drinking cause you to sleep less? i went partying one night an didnt go to sleep by 4am...by 8am i was wide awake. all of that effort had the opposite effect and its been freaking me out.

also...PS3 update. i tired out PSN Home...its ok if you are extremely bored. its like the sims but no grandchildren an stuff. also, the best thing happened on there...a dude got rejected straight up on Home. it was funny cuz he got shot down like that on the internets. also, the PS3 is getting a slim version now. and yesterday and today has been a suck, no GS or walmart or anything has PSN cards...i want to get BF1943.

One that is the 1st rush that everyone (most) like and then is follow by a depressed status. That said alcohol mess with something called the REM phase of sleep on the second half. Reason why you can wake up more easy or no wake up as rest as you may be after "sleeping the drinks"
