Monster (which is already complete) Requiem for the Phantom, CANAAN, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, 07-Ghost all are good but they are still ongoing (i think most of them have already some 20 eps).  I also recommend Bleach but I suppose if you like it you are already watching it and if you are not watching it then didn't bother :P.  Oh, and if you like something in the vein of Rurouni Kenshin you should try out Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto  (quite a mouthful :P) and if you want something bloody try Kurozuka.Â

Ah, monster was quite awesome. I haven't seen the other ones you are talking about so I'll look them up. Oh, I quit watching bleach a while ago.......it got very stale for me. I quit around the time that little girl turns into a full grown espada. Thanks for the suggestions =D
@wonzan odd that you ask about movies i was coming on to post that i got a copy of the movie: the host: that happens to be one of the greatest monster movies and in its native country of korea it was the movie that made the most money ever. its one of my favorite monster movies.i don't watch many animes but theres a few old ones fist of the northstar you should try to see the old anime movie from 1980ies first then look for t.v series but its a great mix of martial arts and blood. after that if you like adult comedy and nude girls mixed of fighting and random stuff i say find koi koi 7 its great. samurai gun is great but short its left unfinished with only 1 season but it has some great episodeselbert_b_23
AH! Korean movies ROCK! Old Boy is one of my favourites =D. I remember watching a few with a friend (she is now in Korea teaching English.....a Koreaholic if there ever was one :P). I haven't seen the one you recommended and I'll defo try it out. Oh and Fist of the North star is AWESOME too! Damnit I almost cried at some points but the manliness of the show prevented me from breaking down :P. I'll look up the other animes you suggested too. Thanks *thumbs up*

Somes that are complete: Code Geass (2 season), Monster, GunGrave, Higurashi no naku Koro ni (2 season, 3rd which is an OVA has one epp left), Blood+, Claymore (is good but the last 3 epp were made up, so it does not have a closure. You would have to continue with the manga),Â
Ongoing: Canaan, Phantom (these 2 are GREAT, phantom is so great that I got the visual novel), HELLSING OVAs!!! AMAZINg...

You seem to have a very similar taste to me :P. I have indeed seen most of those anime. I must agree with the point you made about claymore too, it frustrated me SOOO much that the ending for such an awesome anime was so.....dumb :(. I started watching the Hellsing OVA's a while ago but haven't kept up so I'll watch any new ones. Since canaan has been mentioned a lot I guess I have to give that a try and I'll look up the other one you mentioned. Thanks :D

Ah Grave is SUCH an amazing piece. I watched this with my little sister too. Just us two. You can imagine how this anime must have made me feel at the time. *sobs*. I haven't seen the second anime you mentioned but if its anywhere near as good as Grave I'll defo watch it.
