well finally got it a while ago, played for about 30mins, went for dinner and just got back... OMG, the game is amazing and a GREAT improvement. The original was... well read my review, but this one... NICE...

I`m going to play the lvl and compare them with the original to write a review (of course u know this would take time for me to actually do.... you know work and others stuff, that sadly we call life... :P )

I agree, I am haveing a herd time getting through them. I really wish they would allow you at least save after each stage, instead of having to go back and play through everything again. Not that I don't enjoy it.....but.....

are they like the orginal???... have not got there yet... if they are, yea... the original was lil difficult, nothing major but yea...

nah.... and I could not finished it.. acrually it has no happen yet :( ... specially bc I did not notice that it does not have a save file until well... now :lol:

I played all the way to lvl 4, saved it, or so I though.... then I went to NYC for new year, came back yesterday, went to work today and when I came back.... ah?? stage 1? ah?? where is my file??  ... :?

Why will this created a save file and ask you if you want to save if there is not "load" save option... or am I missing something??

This just in: Highlight Start Game and press right = Stage select. Lets you access levels you've reached, but only on that difficulty level, ie if you beat normal, you can't skip levels in classic until you beat itsemianonymous

I have to beat it once right?? ... Ok, at least now it make sense why it needs a "save file" and once I beat it, I can concentrate in getting all the alternative and doors open :P

EDIT: OMG... you have to HOLD right for a few second (5-8sec) for it to work!!! Is there!!! mysave file is there!!!! KONAMI you ahve trick us again... LOVE IT!!!! woo hoo... I`ll be done with this one now :D:D:D

good news is that the game is in the 8th spot for most popular wiiware games i would say it can be in top 5 but all the demos are in top 5 spotselbert_b_23

I made it to lvl 3 again... :lol: I`m obssess with this game even thus I know I do not have the time to play it... btw: I hate the boss of lvl 3... What is its name???

and elbert yyou know now that we CAN save, so if you get stuck in lvl 6, just take a brake and start again .. :opos: yea, i`m so excited about this :P

@Pixel: glad you liked it :D But about the original CV: adventure, this one and that one just have in common the main character being the same belmont, and maybe some lil things (would say details but the original one did not had any :P ) in lvl 1, they are REALLY different. Starting with this one having more than couple of enemies, a lot more levels, ... and so on... in case you want to read more of teh original - a review by a fan, me :P

I know, I read up on it before I bought it, because I didn't like the GB castlevania games. :P Well, what I played of them.

Anyways, I think it's funny how it's criticized for not adding anything new to the series when that's kinda the point. xD

yea... no at days apparentely a game HAVE to be innovative, doing games based on a formula that works is not aloud.... I dunno where they want the series to go if every single new one have to be different from the preview (look what they did with RE, and if you want to keep that discussion let me know in the burnt paradise..  HATE what they did with RE series)..

and like you said, this was since day one what it end up being... a beautifull look into the old-school castlevania... 

so..yesterday i amde it to lvl 4.... one lvl per night... :P

today... lvl 5 here I go... :)

if it follow tradition, death should be... specially since lvl6 is the last one and we all know that one is dracula.. and death HAS to be in the game, so... lvl 5`s boss ...

@Pixel: I forgot to say earlier, if you don't play any of the Game Boy CV's you should at least play CV:Legends. It gives an extremely important background story to the series. It tells the tale of where and who started the Belmont tradition. :De1shw

well... technacally belmont`s legend was kick out of the "canon" list by IGA.. and the origin of belmont was LoI, which explain expeculations of who is dracula and the birth of VK...

I wasn't aware of this. I hadn't played Lament yet either so now I will have to get a PS2 or 3 so I can play.e1shw

oh man yo have to.... the moment of the birth of VK and the moment were the BELMONT CLAN is born make the game completely worth it :D

BTW: 2 more lvls to go.. and is true lvl 5 is hard... that said... 

TIPS to survive there:

1. LEARN that when the spiking thing fall to the floor still HURT you.. :lol:

2. Have as many heart as you can... I found using the clock subweapon quite usefull in the 1st 2 towers.

btw: any interested door to unlock here? I have not found anything worth it yet :( ...

which remind me... lvl 4 has just one MEAT on ONE of the path and no meat in the others!!! or did I missed something.. I though I was whipng all walls...
