What did you do today?

I live in Tampa, FL. Peacocks aren't all that rare here, but I've never seen a white one before.k_smoove

Awesome. I think I seen peacocks at a zoo or something before, they were pretty neat. We also used to have a bunch of peacock feathers a while ago in our house, I don't know what happened to those. 

So I looked up white peacocks on Wikipedia, and check this out:

"The White Peafowl breeds from India and are the rarest and feathers can reach a sale price of $500 per feather."

That's definitely what I saw, only the tail feathers on the one I saw were longer, like this one:

Today I watched youtube videos, played some games, watched TV, ate food, just sat around :P

Today I went to a local park with three of my friends, one of whom is the girl that I like. We played frisbee, walked on a long trail, and hung out on a bench in the shade. Towards the end, a yellow jacket landed on my shirt, and I'm deathly allergic to yellow jackets. I started panicking without moving at all, and I eventually convinced one of my friends to whack me with my jacket to make the beast fly away. It worked; he hit me, the yellow jacket flew right, and I ran left.

To think I could have died from that... creepy. On an unrelated note, it was cold today! It was in the 50s this morning, which is freezing for Florida, especially in April. But it warmed up to the 70s by noon.

Today I babysat my 2-year-old cousin, Ariana. She absolutely adores me, and the first thing she made me do was build her a fort out of blankets and chairs (which she torn down after 30 minutes). Later on I drove her around in a wheelbarrow in the backyard.k_smoove

Today I went to wal mart with my mom and sister, I bought Killzone 2, then I played killzone 2, I had a nap and watched TV.

It's really good. The campaign is really good, and the online is awesome.
It has really amazing graphics, it's one of the best FPS I've ever played. 

I procrastinated, and then finally got around to doing my homework. I didn't get half as far as I had planned, but whatever. I'll be facing this over the weekend. I spent over an hour talking to the girl I like, and I'm definitely seeing progress. She's starting conversations with me, rather than the other way around, and she even encourages me to text/call her later on! It may not sound like much, but I'm making steady progress.

Also, I wrote up a few parts of my game design documents. I updated my oldest idea (which has evolved quite a bit since last year), and then wrote up a few sections for my latest idea.

Today, I had a tornado watch go into effect during my second period cIass (Spanish), which is in a portable. Basically, this meant that we had to go into an indoor hallway at school for safety until the tornado watch went away. The wind was really strong, the rain was pouring, and one cloud looked about ready to touch down. After about 10 minutes, any sign of threatening weather went away, but we spent another hour just waiting in the hallway.

I don't have any friends in Spanish (they're all preppy freshmen), but I decided on a whim to bring my DSi and The World Ends With You today, so I spent the whole time playing that.

Today, I took a Spanish test, read a bit of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (funny book, btw), heard an anti-drug speech by a graduate of my school who screwed up his life with drugs, and went over what I should expect from the AP History final that's in exactly one month from today.k_smoove

1) I'm not a fighter

2) They were girls, and I don't hit girls

3) One of them was really fat, and I'm quite thin

4) They would get tougher kids involved

5) I would get suspended, and it's just not worth that.

Yeah but if you are going to get beat up by girls you can defend your self. Would you let a women just beat you up??
I never would, if a women hits me I will hit back and I won't be the one going to jail.
Sometimes you have to fight man, I wish I would have fought everyone when I was in high school cause I never would have been bullied.

Today I started writing my condensed novel... by writing the middle chapter. Then I did my homework.k_smoove

Cool stuff. So far today I played some mario kart on the ds, and ate some food. 

Highlight of my day: There was a huge fly trapped in my fire place (about 2-3 cm long), so I got a broom and opened up the fire place, ready to kill it. But the beast flew past me, straight up into my skylights. There was a cobweb up there, so the fly got stuck in the web and stopped moving after about a minute.k_smoove

Dang thats crazy. I hate big flys and big bugs.

Today I ate food, played some games on the DS, posted on GS and played some guitar. 

Today, I decided to run for cIass president for next year. I think I might be in over my head, but I could definitely win. People think I'm hilarious, and the other candidate is a jerk, so if I play on those two things, I could win.k_smoove
