I went out and did some grocery shopping then I attempted the last battle in Viking on hard and couldn't quite do it. After that it was some exciting laundry and I steadfastly refused to do anything productive and enjoy my day off. Tomorrow...back to work for another week. :(Lord_Daemon

I got out of work early morning, had a beverages while playing some COH, slept about 9 hours, made a couple of egg mcmarkmuffins and played some more games until I was forced to leave an intense online game only to be late for work.

I slept until noon, got up, went over to a friends house for a few hours, came home, went out again shoe shopping, picked up a pair of flip flops, emo shoes and this killer pair of five inch heels on sale for $10!!! Yes Viking is only a few weeks old and I found it to be a damn fine game. Gamespot really tore it a new hole in their review but the person doing the review is the worst person they have and if you look at most other sites and people actually playing the game you will see it getting what it deserves which is a 7 to 8 out of 10. Not amazing by any standards, but a fun solid open world hack and slash game with lots of hit and run guerilla/stealth fighting thrown in to boot. I couldn't put it down for the last week or so.

Wow I've been exhausted lately as I've had to get up at 5am the last couple of mornings and that really wipes out a night owl such as myself. My friend came over to do more exploring in Ryu Ga Gotoku - Kenzan and I just kind of fooled around on XBL. I was so tired that I -- and I hate to admit I was this tired -- but I was so wiped out that I played Yaris...online.:| Yup, I actually found a poor soul who was waiting for a game and I played him although I had slightly forgotten how to play. I lost, of course, but I did get the online achievement as well as accidently getting the "acquire all weapon in a single race" one which was funny. I played it for a little while just to get some money and...WHAT?! I was tired!

I downloaded the Iron Man Demo and had some good fun with it. The down side is that it's a bit on the short side. You take out a few base targets, destroy some technology, and then the boss comes out to play and...the end. The up side is that the demo is pretty fun and the controls are very intuitive.

After flying through the demo a few times and destroying bases with my repulsor rays and chest blaster, I noticed that there was a "grapple" option on the punch button. I decided to check out what you could grapple and was pleasantly surprised to find out that you could grapple many targets. You could grapple a tank and pound on a the "b" button to rip the turret off, you could pick up soldiers, fly up and slam them down and you can grab a missle shooting artillery vehicle and control the missles it shoots for a very short period of time!

I suddenly remembered the helicopters flying about and wondered...hmmmm, could you? Yup! You can grab them suckers and pound on the "B" button to tear them apart! Yays! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this game.

I also played a little DiRT and got enough money to buy all the cars and get that achievement so now there's the matter of winning those big marathon championships some day. Goodness! Quite a bit of playing for a tired daemons!

Damn. Was going to suggest soundproofing your room. Maybe moving would be a good idea (or just file a complaint.)linkthewindow

Yays n' stuff n' things! Stuffy things! I finally got the last achievement in Viking by completing the last arduous battle against the boss on hard mode. Actually, the boss battle wasn't too hard on hard, but the path leading up to her was a royal pain. Gosh I miss that game already and I kind of want to play through it again. I miss killing giants!!! :cry:

I foolishly forgot that the strange folks at MS were going to take XBL down for some such technical upgrade doo-hicky things and I was in the middle of playing an XBL game when it went down. I kept trying to reconnect in vain and I was getting mighty annoyed until I did a diagnostic and they told me it was offline for the aforementioned technical reasons and gosh I felt pretty silly. No!!! My Yaris high score wasn't registered!!!!

I mean...I would never play that game. >_>

I played a little more DiRT to get some money for different skins as well as increase my slow climb towards that 1000 miles achievement but I suddenly got exhausted and had to lay down.

today i woke up to discover im sick with something. i have a really bad sore throat and im really tired. i dont feel well at all. i took some vitamins and have been drinking fluids (water, soup) all day. hopefully i'll get better. i should go to sleep soon too, b/c rest does miracles. oh something that made today awesome was that the San Jose Sharks won the quarterfinals against the Calgary Flames and are off to the semi-finals to go up against the Dallas Stars. hope they go all the way to the Stanley Cup finals :)

I'm not exactly sure what the heck I did leading up to today as once again I hand grand plans to go to bed by 3am or so and instead found myself laying down sometime past 6am. Ah well...

Against the wishes of many a reviewer I downloaded and started playing the Rocky & Bullwinkle Wario Ware rip off game from XBL. It's not really that great but I'm a fan of those cartoons so I thought I'd give it a shot anyways. A little fun here, and little fun there, a little stupid here, slightly annoying there, it's a mish mosh. I did manage to get all the achievements but two though so I suppose I got a tiny reward for playing around.

Ahhhhhh! The demo of Operation Darkness is on XBL! I downloaded it and played and played and played it and I had quite a good time with it. Slightly slow moving to get your guys into attack position but after that it was fun cutting down the bad guys. I only wish I was more awake to enjoy it but there's always tomorrow. By the way, if you ever see me on XBL that's an Operation Darkness character as my avatar.

For no particular reason I went back to play that XBL freebee game Undertow. I guess I just get annoyed when I have a game that I've never really tried to do much with. Before I knew what had happened I ended up just a couple chapters shy of finishing the story so I stayed up much to late in order to finish it up. Yay me. :|

Yet more DiRT just to inch towards that 1000 miles goal. I think I'm just about 150 miles away from it so that's not that bad.
