It'd benice to get a little preview Super Mario Galaxy Wii Channel would be nice like they did with Metroid Prime 3.
No I am from Europe so it is definetly not Nintendo Power.chocolate1325
Did you get it yet? I just got my EGM magezine in the mail today, and read it already. What disappoints me, they're a great mag, but no Super Mario Galaxy Preview, Info, nor Review. This is going to be one of the greatest games on the Wii console, and they usually play games a few monthes earlier and then review them, such as Guitar Hero III and Rock Band.
Anyway, I updated the first page with another Gameplay movie that actually shows some of Mario's forms and some of the galaxies you'll be running around in.
So when do you think we'll start seeing demo units of SMG in stores? Apparently some kid has the full game already that he got from a demo unit at a Game Crazy.... or at least according to Gonintendo.com.REVOLUTIONfreak
Wow ... I wish I had it. It's not like Xbox Live w/ Halo 3. If Bungie caught you on Halo 3 on Xbox Live before the release, they banned you. How do you think he got the game?
Well I think from what I have heard it scored 97% in Offical Nintendo Magazine. Zelda Twilight Princess also scored that. The 16th November can't come soon enough for me.:D
I am getting really excited it comes out the day after my birthday

I don't know... I just know he got it from a demo unit, because all he has is the game disc and not the box or anything like that.Check out one of Japan's commercials for the game. The music near the end was fantastic, better than any of the music I've heard in most recent games.

lol, well given that most Mario games probably have over a dozen different bosses I don't think that's too big of a deal. The website didn't load very well for me either, but I was still able to see it the whole way through.I REALLY want to go to Gamestop this weekend to see if they have the demo of the game yet. Apparently the Gamestop stores are getting them in, and if that's the case, then that means they'll be getting the game in soon... which therefore means that November 12th ISN'T a ship date, and I'll therefore be able to buy it on November 12th. :P
Yeah, this game will undoubtedly be one of the best games on the Wii for the year. This will obviously, not hopefully, be better than sunshine.
Also, a little bit of tidbit on the game. I may be late to the party, but other suits have been revealed. First is Fire Mario which, as per title, allows Mario to shoot fireballs by spinning him. Second is Spring Mario, which is given extremely high jumping abilities, but makes you harder to controller, and also looks pretty funny. Third is Ice Mario. This allows Mario to freeze whatever water he comes in contact with. Fourth is Star Mario, which, as I'm sure you guessed, makes Mario invincible for a short time. If you want to see these suits in action, go to the Japanese Website and check the movies.
I PLAYED SUPER MARIO GALAXY!
All I'm gonna say right now, is that it does not disappoint. I'm going to explain more in my hands-on impressions article I'm gonna write in a little while, but right now I am just baffled by how much fun the game was. They had it at Gamestop and EBGames, and I played it for probably a good half an hour. The controls were simplified, but still felt solid at the same time. The graphics? AMAZING. It looks exactly like you'd imagine it, although I'd prefer to play it in standard definition since progressive scan made everything look too pixelated in my opinion.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!
Where I live in Europe there's no demos which is a shame because it would be nice to play it a little bit also is it easy to use and how long did you spend playing it.
Mario is the series that has changed alot from the original Super Mario Bros,Super Mario Worldto Super Mario Kart and Super Mario 64 but this is the game thats gonna be to own a Wii for. Well it looks so to play and the ability of a second player to help Mario or hamper his progress sounds fun and the Bumblebee Suit is the power up that is the best since the Tanooki Suitand I know you can't get it wet or else you lose the Bumblebee Suit.
There is alot to look forward the series has something fresh and new I thought last year we were just getting another Mario game but with the Wii mote and Nunchuck also the future is bright for Mario. The reason I was really looking forward to this most was because Miyamoto was more involved in this than he was in Super Mario 64 and whenever he seems to be directing a game it always turns out a masterpiece and this game could rank alongside Ocarina Of Time and Super Mario 64 as revoultionary games.
Well, like I said in the preview, the new power ups could be cool if they do it right and include them in all galaxies rather than their "designated" galaxy. In other words, if the bee suit is just in the bee galaxy, then that's going to be kind of disappointing...
By the way, has anyone else noticed that Nintendo likes to name their Mario games regarding planets and such? Think about it, Super Mario World, Super Mario Sunshine and now Super Mario Galaxy. What's next? Super Mario Universe?
i played the demo......wow.....i only played a little, i got to use the bee suit, it was amazzing. easily the most captivating game this year. wow....i cant wait...ThePrince8605Cool. :) Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks that. I'm eager just to play the "demo" (not really a demo since it's the full game) again this weekend.
According to Gonintendo some retailers are marketing SMG as releasing on the 14th and not the 12th... which means that there could be a chance of a very minor delay. I hope not, but you never know with Nintendo. I doubt that it will get delayed though, in my opinion they would have announced a delay that minor by now.REVOLUTIONfreak
G4 and retailers were saying that Guitar Hero III was releasing on November 2nd, and I called Gamestop up because I was pissed. They said it was coming out on Sunday, so I was happy. I don't know retailers are saying so, it'll come out Nov. 12th. I couldn't care though, honestly, I'm extremely hype about this game, but I have Guitar Hero III and I'll have CoD4, so 2 more days to wait isn't much. Plus, it would come out on a Wednesday and I would get my hardest day out of the way and come home to play Super Mario Galaxy to have the next day off.
