Which Final Fantasy games do you own?

I own 1 (GBA & PSP), 2 (GBA & PSP), 3 (DS), 4 (SNES), 6 (SNES), 7 (PS), and Dissidia.

I will get Dissidia 12 this month, I plan to get Type-0 when it comes out. I want to get 5 also, and 8 & 9 I will get on PSN when I get a PS3 (for Christmas, which is under 8 months away:P). I also really want to play FFXII, so I'll buy it and borrow my cousin's PS2 for that.

Yep, FF7 and FF9 are two of the best Final Fantasies. A lot of people like to attack FF7 for how overrated it is, but just because it's overrated doesn't mean it isn't good.magitekk

I don't think there is an Auron available that is a comparable size to the ones I have (if at all). I actually know where to get Vincent, but the paint job on his face is lower quality than the others so I keep skipping him. I also know of stores that have Rinoa, Selphie and Yuna in stock but they are slightly smaller than I'd like. If any, I'll go for the Yuna...but I'm hoping Square will release another collection of Dissidia figures featuring the Duodecim characters. That would include a proper Yuna (and Kain at that). I'd also prefer Gunner Yuna to Kimono Yuna, if I had the choice.

Dissidia Duodecim is a 10 imo.  It has everything the first game has plus more characters, game modes and bonuses.  Be warned though, this is pure FF fan-service.  If a hybrid rpg/fighter starring FF characters sounds good to you, Dissidia will not disappoint.

How did you buy it in Japan? Did your register person speak English? I ask myself that each time I go to my local mall (which is huge) that probably has more of a mixture of asian, black, and indian immigrants in it than anything else.magitekk

Neither of the girls in the store spoke any English, but I went from Osaka to Kyoto to Tokyo so by the time I got to the shop, I had some useful stock phrases that when combined with hand signals and lots of bowing, lead to effective if sometimes awkward communication.

Yeah as cjimrun says. Duodecim is a great game :) And you dont need to play the first one in order to understand the story  :)

Dammit. Yesterday I got one of those random FFXIII trading arts figures. There's only one that I really would have hated getting, and that was Hope. Guess which figure I got. :UYonathin3155

I actually bought 4 and got 2 Jihls, so that sucked...but I also got Light and Serah and those would be my top picks from series 1. I don't even include Jihl with the rest I have on display cuz she's just a side character really. I doubt these will come here because FFXIII received so much negative attention...but if they do, Square usually releases them in clear packaging so you can get the one you want.

Yona is getting his as a Japanese import, and in Japan Trading Arts figures come in opaque boxes so you can't tell what you're getting. That's why they're called Trading Arts, cuz they're like trading cards. You buy a bunch and then trade with people to get what you want. Whenever a Trading Arts series is officially released outside of Japan, they come in clear packaging so you can buy the one you want, but they are also more expensive that way. Trading Arts are actually pretty cheap in Japan, probably cuz of the random factor but also cuz you need to assemble them. When you buy them in North America, they are pre-assembled statues. When I was in Japan, the second Dissidia series had not been released overseas yet (and the FFXIII T. Arts still haven't), so I bought tonnes of each to get what I wanted and then gave the rest away. My lucky brother got Bartz, Firion and Sephiroth due to doubles I ended-up with. I also bought 1 Chrono Trigger T.Arts box and got a great scene of Crono and Marle sitting on a rock under a tree with Crono's sword leaning against it.

I just found out that FFXIII Trading Arts have been listed on the US Square-Enix Store website, so it may be possible to order a particular figure in the States. I never thought it would happen due to the negative attention the game garnered in the West.
