I've used Skype like... twice? Both times to watch a movie with a friend, and that was over a year ago. I'm not even entirely sure how Skype works.

@meetroid8: No, Skype's just a means to communicate with others. Several of my friends on it don't like having a call, but the occasional conference call happens and it's always tons of fun

For no particular reason, I'm listening through The Doors discography. Oh my God, The Soft Parade is awful. Also, why did they even bother after Jim Morrison died? Those albums are incredibly average.

I haven't been watching as much pony as I'd like to lately, but I'll be cracking into a bottle of whiskey soon and probably do a marathon of the first season.

I haven't watched the entire first season since before the third season started, at least. I still think it's the best season.

@meetroid8: Unfortunately, the first 16 - 17 episodes I have of season 1 are in pretty low quality, though it's not so bad when sitting back a bit further.

I guess I need to get around to buying the DVD's. I'm just a bit annoyed they haven't bothered to bring it out on blu-ray yet (unless I want to watch it in german).

I got the first season on DVD, and then promptly never broke open the plastic. With streaming and downloads, when do people ever watch DVDs anymore?

@meetroid8: I like having physical copies. Games, music, movies; I get them all physically if I'm able.

I can understand that, but at the same time, digital is so much more convenient. No need for physical storage space, easily organized, and all of your games/movies/etc are always in one place.

@meetroid8: I like having a huge stack of movies and CDs to look at and admire for some reason.

I used like doing that. Until I ran out of space for them and started stacking them haphazardly in closets and basements just to get them out of the way.

That's exactly the same with me. Always trying to find space for even just that one new game...
