[QUOTE="Kman5507"]I thought you were number 2? :?bugbagCorrect Kman, I'm number 1, Ikhzo is number 2, and Govi is a robot.:|
*drop kicks bugbag* :evil:Â
But I died a hero so it doesn't matter.:([QUOTE="bugbag"][QUOTE="ikhzo"]Now I'm Number Uno! :twisted:Kman5507

Broly did :|Â
I never asked for this...bugbag
Let me guess... someone stole you're sweet roll?
... Wait... wrong gameÂ
Maybe you should make artwork of this and share it in this thread.Kman5507
Are you talking to me or bug? I don't wanna draw this conversation xDÂ
I made some doodles on a small piece of paper when I was in Colorado, stuck with a bunch of terrible people in a restaurant. I was actually quite proud of my doodles. Alas, I left them on the table. I try not to keep such things. Equally unfortunate, by the end my blue crayon had broken. D; It's not fair! Little kids gets to hold onto crayons as hard as they want, but I pick up a crayon and it always breaks! :cry:RoseFlambe169I enjoy doodling. :)
You should hold onto them. Always stive to surpass your last doodle!
Everybody!
This thread is oddly lacking in artwork for an artwork thread...

Artwork :| Some new characters
And here is a doodle, was bored at work one day and saw some sticky notes :P
Awesome stuff. Your art style is reminicent of Bleach. :D
Mines taken a turn towards Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I'm having a lot of fun with hair styles atm. :P
But my hands are still not great.. :|
Hands and feet are easily the hardest thing to do, then I think scaling.
One tip I can give you is don't be afraid to use guidelines and basic shapes to layout what you want it to look like then do final lines over themÂ
Jeebers, how on earth do you guys draw in a straight line? o.0 I couldn't do that to save my life!RoseFlambe169
Straight? O.o where? The only real advice I can give you is to find your natural stroke. Just get a piece of paper and draw a line in one simple smooth motion, preferably quick, and learn what angle you naturally draw at that is most comfortable. Then rotate your page accordingly to get the smoothest lines possible.
Another thing you can try is sketching over a line many times in small strokes, extending it slowly. Like I told SG, don't be afraid to use guidelines and simple shapes to lay the groundwork.
I already do. :P I have my own way of doing them now which I'm comfortable with. I think my problem is that I unconciously try to avoid drawing hands. They tend to end up in a lot of pockets. But when I do draw them, it's always the fingers that get me. :xHands and feet are easily the hardest thing to do, then I think scaling.

They can look great in the guide line/shape process, but as soon as I fill them in, they go sour.
I still have a few probs with scaling every now and then, but I've been pretty succesful with it in my last few pics. I aim for about 7 heads tall. After that is definitely posture. Sometimes, they can just look awkward, even if they're standing still. But, I'm sure that will become more natural with practice.

But yeah. what Govi said. :P

I did once. :| I needed to draw 2D schematics of a mini-house for a woodshop class. It took me so many hours...I don't even know long long it would take me to draw something nice. Gosh, all this talk about drawing is making me want to draw something. I better not. More shredder fodder. >_>
Can only get better with practice. ;)supergohan1
QFT, I have gotten a lot better over time due to the amount of time I draw. Also researching and finding reference material is a big thing :PÂ

Try using stick figures with balls for hands and feet. It'll make poses easier as long as you have the correct proportions :DÂ
Nope, I could totally get worse. Just look at this terrible robot crab. That's not at all how it looked in my head! :cry:RoseFlambe169
xD It's not that bad, I wish I could find some of my old drawings to show you what I used to do... not flattering at all.
At least you have ideas, which is a big step... I am currently in a writers/ artist block so I have no ideas, just doodles.Â
Don't lie to me. :| You know it's that bad and so do I! I'm sure they would be flattering. You and supergohan1 seem to have that natural drawing talent. My mom and my brother have it, but it skipped over me. I got a different talent instead. >_>
Ah, when I'm doing doodles I usually don't know what to draw. So what I do is draw some kanji, and then a picture to go with the kanji. So I'll draw hana, and then I'll draw a flower next to it. That way if the drawing isn't pretty, at least the kanji is. :P Kanji also = ideas. I wonder what the kanji for kani is...oh. That looks difficult. ;o_o

RoseFlambe169
That's not true at all, sure there are people that are just born with the talent to draw, but almost anyone can learn it. Good art is about 15% natural talent and 85% practice and hard work.My mom and my brother have it, but it skipped over me.
I got a different talent instead. >_>RoseFlambe169
And what talent would that be? O.o;Â

That's an interesting idea, I never thought about doing something like that. I never really draw Â
Almost anyone. X) I would be the anyone who can't. Just 15%? I think I'd go more with 30%. It starts to come out when your preschool art is better than most of the class, before you've started practicing.
That's classified. :x It's an artistic talent though. Sadly, I have no such talent in the science, math, or logic departments. v.v
I find it fun. You should try one or two. They look so cool when you get 'em right, even if they're easy ones.

Is it painting? Photography? Murdering?

I must know what this sorcery is! :xÂ
How do I post images in that code way?
Is it [img]?
bugbag
What do you mean? As a hyperlink? Or just as an image on GS?
EDIT: I think you mean like 'Open bracket'IMG src="Link" '/bracket'
Hah! No one's ever guessed it before. Murdering sounds like fun, but no.RoseFlambe169
You have an underground lair where you train rabbits to be jewel capers :oÂ

Nah, I'm not interested in jewels. Now training them to pretend they have rabies for kicks...that's a little different.
I agree with, govi. :|
You're using all the best advice, mate. Leave some for me. :P
Btw, thanks for the fingers tip, I'll have a practice with that later. :)

I'm sorry  I didn't know it was an advice game.
And you're welcome, I'd recommend just use a whole sheet of paper to practice hands. Use a trapazoidal (almost square) shape for the palm and come off the side with a connecting triangle shape for the thumb. Then extend off the top of the square at almost double the palm height for the fingers ;)Â
Not any more, no. Don't ask. I don' wanna talk about it. >_>RoseFlambe169
What'd ya model? :| I asked.Â
