Completely disagree, game story always used to be really bad, now there are some really great ones!

More great games, but less unique games.

I like Halo's story up until 4. I'm not sure if I would say it is the best story though :|

EDIT: How could I forget The Walking Dead?! That was an amazing story! I think thats the best story in a game.

Note: Demon's and Dark Souls do have stories, you just have to get drawn in with the lore of the games. Its really incredible once you do.
