Best Game Story?

Ok, some of you are still here so mind telling me of any upcomeing or games that are out, that have great storys?

Ive played Bioshock series, overlord series, half-life series, portal, L4D series, borderlands, gettign portal 2, and hopefully going to get Brink and later dead island, any of you know of any FPS games with great storys? ive been scouring the internet lookign for threads and other things, but have had to start my own, so please help me. 

Well LA Noire looks pretty neat story wise, obviously Portal 2 as you mentioned and Witcher 2.

That's this month and next for you.

I can't think of a game that have a good story. Some are confusing, some are boring, some are good but it takes you awhile to understand. ;)

Finding a FPS with a good story isn't very easy. Since yuou already played Bioshock and the Half Life series, you'll probably need to look for older games like Deus Ex and System Shock 2 (although that's more of an action RPG.)

 If you're looking for a game with a good story your best bet would be to look in the WRPG genre. Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher, etc.  Mafia 2 is supposed to be really good in the story department and L.A. Noire's story is supposed to be great if the developers live up to their promises. Red Dead Redemption is also good.

 Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a must, And MGS2: Sons of Liberty to a lesser extent. 

Another thing, is anyone else disapointed that Bioshock infinite wont take place in Rapture, but in a sky city named Columbia?

In my opinion, it takes away the idea of being in a plagued, dark world, by makeing it into constant light by being in he sky (except if its dark out)

It also gives you a new set of charecters, and a totaly different story, seeing as its many  years after the Rapture incedints, and this makes it have no connection.

Another difference is that Columbia is created by the U.S., and is supposed to be a giant city which circles the globe, gathering different cultures and societys, but the some time, it floats up into the sky higher then normal, and becomes lost.

You are sent up there to find Elizebeth, you find her near the begining, which im not sure how that will work out.

So are any of you hopeing after infinite they will make a 3rd part of raptures story?

MGS2 has an amazing story, it's even deeper than MGS3's.

I can agree with that. I liked Snake Eater's story better though. But both have incredible stories.

The story makes up for the horrible camera and controls, which is really saying something. I have the Subsistance version though, so I have a fully controllable 3D camera at my disposal. You still need to go to first person to aim though. Also, if you want the full experience, check the codec every forty seconds or so.

I believe I played it a few times, but I never got far in it.

Got to Solokov, then guests came over and i had no save. I tried to pause a cutscene like in MGS4, it skipped it, so I turned the console off. I will have to restart.stephenage
