Best Game Story?

DA:O is overrated in my opinion. The story never really took off for me, and the writing was really, really childish in some areas. Everyone are always telling me how mature the game is, but I disagree.:x

I did like the game. I liked the story, I liked to hate the characters, and I loved the world. I just think the writers tried too hard to be mature.

The first two hours of Dragon Age Origins and I was thinking it was the greatest video game I ever played. Two sections in particular, the Deep Roads and the Circle of Magi Tower (or whatever it was called) severed whatever chances it had at that. 

I really enjoyed DA: II. Still need to play through Origins or at least try to force myself to. I have the Ultimate edition with all the dlc and I haven't even picked up the game case. :Ptntkng

the only thing that is boring is the Fade part. That part is about 1 or two hours, but is tedious as hell. Everything else is sublime

It didn't help that as a Noble Dwarf. that was the second time I had been through the Deep Roads 

I liked that place... But I never really want to go through there again. Also...

that's what made my score for the game not end on a 10, it is a big enough part of the game to make people notice. Just a chapter they could have made a hell of a lot shorter and just have it as part of the lore, instead of the whole 2 hour ordeal 

My only major gripe with DA:O was the difficulty was all over the place. Sometiems I would be having a really tough time of things on easy while other parts I could be on hard and the game was a breaze.

 As for the fade,wasn'tmy favoriye part but I didn't hate it.

Yeah, I switched it back to easy on the last fight too. I lasted about thirty minutes each time I tried it and was just getting too annoyed, so I switched to easy and got it on my first try.:D

Dragon Age could have been one of the best games. I just would have made some changes to the script, maybe switch out a few characters, and fix some of those annoying levels... And the difficulty.:P

Also, the gameplay would have been a bit better with combos. It could still be a RPG, and I liked the strategy in it, but sometimes the combat got a bit slow.

I had heard so many complaints about The Fade, I actually didn't mind it too much.:|bugbag
