I liked it fairly well. It was funny and light-hearted but serious and timid at the same time. I agree about the end, though. It was a little depressing for my tastes until Akito spazzed and then it got boring again. I also hated that they ran out of funds and were selling the manga so they could continue the anime.
Still I liked reading the manga too. I'd rate it at maybe a 4 or 5, but I still anticipate the continuation of the anime. They finally started working on the new episodes.
My favorite character is Hatsuharu Sohma, and then Hanajima because she's crazy in a weird way.
I barely know any Japanese, so I'm not completely sure what I said, although I think it means, "very interesting." But I can't remember I learned the phrase from my dad years ago and I haven't used it in so long...

In the last one I watched it had that Rip Van Winkel chick and her spazzing out before and as Alucard consumed her. Oh but I did love to see that punky neko kid get ganked by Alucard in the meeting! I was sad for 3 secs, and then burst out laughing!
Well Ryuuken...It's HILARIOUS even if you can't get it in English. Just reading the subtitles made me go into a giggle fit the whole time! Trust me it's something you CANNOT take it seriously and be ready for some "SAY WHAT?!" and "OMFG!" moments as well as "WTF?!" and "WHOA!" moments too.
i have the entire series of Shakugan on DVD Shin-kun~nano desu. i just recomended it to my onee-chan and she loved it as well and fell in love with Shana~nano deusyo!
