No, that's Tomb Raider.Hard to want to pay attention to a class where your teacher is completely, helplessly senile. He spends at least 25% of his class backtracking all the super long equations he writes because of stupid mistakes, and then blaming his eyesight (there's this cool new invention, it's called glasses). And then you don't know if he's right the other 75% of the class, or if no one spotted the mistake yet. Or if he's right after backtracking.BrunoBRS
That sounds terrible. What class is this for?

analysis of linear circuits, or something like that.class has a steady 50%+ failure rate, and no one wonders if the problem might not be the students.
you should know better than to expect gamespot to give a f*ck about their community. i mean, just look at the forums lol.http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/29378231/would-like-to-speak-with-a-mod-who-can-help-out-with-a-few-forums?msg_id=340983650#340983650

GameSpot's monkeyass stupid technicians don't make themselves known with their excuses, but just by their idiocy. Here, the mods gave me some shit about how each mod basically watches their own forum and works like that. That's fine and understandable, but you're telling me that the same mod who responded can't just sticky Slashkice's Vita recommendation thread or remove the AdBlock thread in the Legacy forums because MailerDaemon and Allicrombie weren't smart enough to do so on their own or didn't check?
Bullshit
PSA time:
www.play-asia.com has ni no kuni and gravity rush both on sale for the entire week, with free shipping for purchases above 25 dollars (as they always have). unfortunately that means gravity rush has paid shipping unless you buy some random trinket. fortunately, play-asia has all sorts of trinkets for you to purchase.

Should be funded within the hour at the rate it's going. Hell, probably not even that long.
I'm going for the blu-ray/artbook combo. :3
Oh yeah? Well, I'm going for the Blu-Ray/artbook + shipping combo.
...>.>
Thought $60 was overkill for a 35-minute short, so I just put down $20 immediately to help get it funded (which it did)!
Then again, I've made worse investments like getting Breaking Bad S4 on Blu-Ray for $50 plus tax a week before it ended up on Netflix. There's also an artbook involved this time. Was originally thinking of something small like the ones you'd get as pre-order bonuses, but now I realize it'll likely be a full-fledged art book and--OH GREAT, NOW I'M THINKING OF GOING TO $60.
I'll probably jump if they throw in Sucy, even at a higher tier.

WHAT IS BECOMING OF ME?! D:

I am back after a massive internet outage affecting thousands of people lasting 5-6 days. Glad I have no 24 hour connection DRM for any games :P Anyways, what have I missed?
Ni No Kuni is the best looking (visually) game of 2013 so far. It is only a darn shame that its combat is a complete and utter mess.

I'm only 3.5 hous in so far, so I don't know if I know wnough to actually make a case, but I actually like the combat a lot. Does it get worse as the game progresses? I've heard it does.

It starts going downhill once you get party members. The combat keeps getting worse as navigating to your defensive command before the enemy does big bad attack that hits you for 80% of your life gets harder and harder due to bigger move pools and less time to "react". All defend is pretty darn unreliable too.
The bosses also end up becoming nothing but bloated life pools and boss fights being kiting fests. It wasnt hard as much as it was frustrating to have your companions die constantly despite you telling them to block the doomsday attack.
Edit: That said, the game does get more fun once you get your first party member, or well, shortly after you get your first party member, because then you can finally capture familiars.

sounds like persona :DHeh, perhaps. But I doubt Persona's combat can be THAT bad. Ni No Kuni is still a good game, but the combat bars its steps into greatness. You should get it, it does a lot of things right, including voice acting.
Yes you heard that from me: Voice acting in a positive light.

I'm at the part where
I just rescued King Tom (or whatever his name is) from Ding Dong Well, and now I have to go to Al Maloom past the Golden Grove.
I have two familiars so far, obviously none of them were captured by me, rather given to me as per the game's script. I'm liking almost all aspects of the game so far. Still only 3 and a half hours into a game that is at least ten times as long as the amount of time I've clocked in, so there's a lot I don't know, but I'm really enjoying it.
I guess I'm liking the combat because I heard a lot of people telling me that the system is riddled with issues, so I wasn't expecting much. But then again I haven't gotten to the part where the combat starts deteriorating, so I guess I should stay cautious :P
And you're right, the voice acting is amazing in the game. Especially Mr. Drippy, that guy gives me stitches in my sides :P
Also, is this exactly the same as the DS version (other than the White Witch quest) or did Level-5 do some work from scratch (like the sound, or cutscenes, or enhancing the visuals)?
