i'm debating bioshock infinite. i have two weeks of vacation starting now, but one of them will be spent traveling (and hopefully kitesurfing). i'm not buying anything until dragon's crown comes out, and after that, i think i'm free of new purchases until october.

on the other hand, i still haven't finished persona, or metal gear rising, or even started the MGS HD collection i borrowed from my friend, and i got borderlands 2 (for free) earlier this week. on top of all that, guild wars 2 has been updating their game very, very frequently.

So besides SSB Melee, I've pretty much stopped playing console games.

This is why my backlog doesn't end.

Not edgy as much as cynical and difficult to please.

I want games to do something well for me to enjoy them. Skyrim is one of the most poorly executed games I have played in my life, and to be frank, I think the biggest problem with Skyrim stems from its pretense to be an RPG. Should just ditch the RPG elements entirely and just focus on becoming a good action adventure game.

I realy want the majora mask soundtracks and posters. Didn't make it to plat this year.

Glad I didn't even reach Gold. The rewards just keep getting worse and worse. At the rate we're going, we'll end up getting discount coupons as rewards.

It's certainly not the figurine or the pin set, but it's almost as good as the playing cards.

I went with the posters myself, mostly for the Wind Waker and Pikmin posters. Came close to getting the OST but I don't really need the CD seeing as how I already have the whole OST downloaded. :P

I expected better, though. Something along the lines of Luigi merchandise, given it's the "Year of Luigi".

How is it you know what my town looks like, though? We've never even played together...

there's still a lot of grass in my town, the problem is there are those HUGE (like, bigger than my smaller beach) dirt patches that no matter how many flowers i tuck there, no matter how religiously i water them, no matter how slow and carefully i walk, no matter how quick i play the game (because apparently grass wears down if you play the game for too long), the thing just keeps on growing.

it's like someone decided that they needed to punish people for playing the game by making their towns look like shit. my town is a patchwork of grass, huge mud paths, and giant flower fields band-aiding the mud patches.

Just gotta sync up so we can visit one another at least once is all.

After that I can add you to the list and contact in-game.

Ah, the pins. Had Platinum that year, went "Pins? The f***?" and got the calendar. Kinda regret that. <.<

As for this year's rewards, on second thought, the Majora's Mask OST would've been nice to complement the OoT OST. Mad that we still haven't gotten SMG 1 + 2's OST though. :X

And I wouldn't call this the year of Luigi. It's more like the year of 'second fiddle' franchises, mascoted by Luigi. :P Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fire Emblem, arguably SMT considering the popularity of Persona, etc.

You picked a calendar over the pins. You disappoint on such a level I can't put it into words.

Chances are I won't make the Platinum this year, since I'm not buying much in the way of games anymore. M&L4 is the last purchase I'm making this year. Granted, if my brothers pick up a Wii U they all add to my Club Nintendo account (we share the coins and rewards). So who knows. 

The calendar is horrible. I got that last year and it's not even put together, it's a bunch of cards :/

I don't even have one Nintendo point this year lol. I guess I could register Fire Emblem but I'm too lazy.

my favorite is the stone tablet, because it makes the town look like the landing ground of some alien civilization :P

i've decided that i'll spend all of tomorrow redesigning my town. i'll collect all the fruit and store it safely, then proceed to chop down every tree i can find, just to regrow them. and no more durians and lyches on my town.

matter of fact... i might start with the chopping now, since most of my fruit trees have fruit on them.

i don't have the option of growing bamboo ;-;
