and i still prefer geralt ponytail-free. first chance i got, i changed his haircut back to his TW1 style. also they still need to do something about combat. it's where the game always falls short.

I said it in the hype thread and I will say it here.

An 8 is still a great score, it might not be friggin amazing, but I am glad someone has the balls to rate it lower and not follow the herd mentality.

For all we know the game might just be worth a 8. Remember all the 9s and 10s Skyward Sword and GTA4 got?

i mean, it's not a bad movie, but... UGH.

not to go into spoilers, but i never thought breaking the laws of physics could annoy me so much in a movie. probably because they are all sciency and because the moments they do make no sense.

and i didn't believe it until i saw it, but my god. the star trek universe utopiafied itself to the point where everyone is so naive, gullible and stupid that even the most basic sense of self preservation is lost upon them. the entire crisis (or multiple crisis-es) of the movie could be averted had the people in the star trek universe had any common sense. and i'm afraid of what will happen to engineers in the future. i mean, ffs, they design those starships with no basic safety measures.

it's kinda funny that the only time they remember to strap their seatbelts is when they're going to ultimately die, rendering the seatbelt pointless.
