You overuse the word beautiful still. :P
Nolan made a movie which was crushed by studio pressure and had no direction and an awful ending...
Good job Nolan.

OK, I'll ignore what you say about that film from now on :P.Â
People who say that are like the people who believed in the ME3 indoctrination theory. They will not believe it's a crappy ending but look for ways in which it's actually something deep and clever, no that's not a plot hole its just osme part of a greater contrivance. Rubbish I say. IN a film the truth is what is shown, what is on screeen. Inception used what was on screen to show an ambiguity about its final scene, Rises does nothing like that. There is nothing in the film to suggest it is a dream, no cinematic technique, no clever ambiguous device. If that was Nolan's intent then he did a terrible job of conveying it. If we are able to judge that as a dream due to no evidence of the film then you should be able to apply that logic to any other part of the movie. I suggest comissioner Gordon was in a coma the whole time and it all happened in his head.
On a serious note, if it was just Alfred looking at the screen, or there was a Memento style flash of the truth (a frame or two of the people at the table not being there) then I would beleive the dream theory. As it is it is just people giving the film more credit than it deserves and trying to find any excuse for the ending not to be crappy... It's just a crappy ending guys, sorry.
Waaait... In the end someone wakes up and Batman is all a dream? :PRoseFlambe169
I wish Rose. I wish.
That was worth noting. I'm impressed.
So about Black Mesa Source. It's not the whole game, just the whole section on Earth (so 3/4) and some of the changes I'm not crazy about but im interested to see how they work. These include iron sights, new (and apparently bad) voice acting, changes in the story to make it link with Half Life 2 more and similar little touches. I would prefer they just spruced up Half Life as it is, and make the voice acting... Good... But it's free, so I'm not going to complain.
*Free if you own a Source game on Steam.Â
Yeah, do get that so you can tell me whether to go for the original or Black Mesa. I would likely want to see the original first, but if it's worth it, I'd buy HL2 on Steam for Black Mesa.
Though not for a long time. :PÂ
Gotham City Imposters has gone free to play on Steam, I wonder if the consoles will get the same treatment?
London 2012 ruined Queen at their closing ceremony.
I understand that Freddie has been dead for quite some time now, but was Jessie J honestly the best choice to perform We Will Rock You with the rest of the band members?
Speaking of song choice, We Will Rock You would've been more appropriate for the opening ceremony. More suitable songs for the Closing Ceremony would've been We Are The Champions or The Show Must Go On.
And just to keep this post ontopic, here's the PAX The Last of Us gameplay demo, which is the version of the E3 demo we didn't get to see!

Queen were ruined during their career.Â
Ubisoft has announced that one of the first DLCs in progress for Assassin's Creed 3 is the three-part Tyranny of King George. An entirely separate campaign from the main game, The Tyranny of King George will focus on an alternate non-canon reality: As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend.
