I would totally settle for the 3rd one..that is freaking great...I hate "dark" boxart covers...they are made of FAIL and LOSE

Forget the pictures, how good would an 18+ rating be? (And a perfect rating from IGN, for that matter).

That said, I agree with GMG that the light one is the best of the lot. I look forward to the final product, I'm sure it'll look awesome.

Evan and Soul: Based on the quality/style of the image..I'd have to say that the only way it isn't the boxart now is if it were ONLY a promotional pic for ordering (at Circuit City according to the guy that saw one *a pic..not a box*) and some fan took it upon themselves to fake a boxart using it. *which I actually doubt in this case*

This isn't some concept art thrown on a box like all the other fan works before it...this is a High Quality image like the original US boxart..It has the BoA..Kratos has next to none of his old scars on his body *still has the old facial scar*, he has the proper attire *tattered remnants of his God Armor* and the location fits right into the visual style we've been seeing lately.  I would be shocked if this WASN'T the chosen boxart.  Barlog talked about how he meet with Charlie Wen and chose an artword to become the boxart *telling him how to refine it for the final product* about a month ago *possibly longer*.

~No one was against it..no one was just ok with it..they WANTED it..Everyone who gets the PAL version immediately requested that the boxart for PAL be the same as the US version...

Nice!  I've never seen that picture before, so it may be real. (Or a dedicated fan with a great talent and no life.)

Last I saw there were 40 comments *and it's still 40*... only 2 people *Me and Mike* said they'd like it for the PAL version... seems someone here is exaggerating a bit. but I guess it's okay to generalize here cause it IS freaking HOT!Soulxxx

I'm talking about all the boards that have recently noticed the boxart..not just Barlog's blog.. The first place that I saw this news was the GameSpot GoWII boards..the site that had it was obscure to me and the topic creator wasn't much better known..but he provided plenty of information *though it would look like a small amount to some* 

The crowd there isn't exactly the most informed *or intelligent at times*

~Even the official Sony boards caught on and approve..that's a testament in itself with how pathetic that bunch is..

~boring night here..must be a weekend..glad I spent my day watching a marathon of WIN whille spoiling myself with the company of my best friend, a steak dinner and a midnight pizza all the while watching back to back psycho movies...the only thing to muddy the day was the brief appearance of an unwanted visitor..that's just like me to obsess over my anger, bringing myself down from the high of joy that others would be content in basking in

Another potential boxart for GoWII.  I strongly prefer the other one.

I see only large muscles..trapezoid..shoulders..all rather large *making the "hump"*

The picture is boring and the locale is "meh" material.  The pose of Kratos is awkward at best.  A bit too reminescent of the first games original boxart *which I liked*

I thought the last promo art we saw *that had us excited* was the perfect evolution of the style used in the first...besides..This one clearly depicts the Blades of Chaos as seen in the first game's cover.

~I'm fairly confidant that THIS isn't the GoWII boxart..not for the US..and hopefully not for any of you guys..I'm guessing each store has their own unique promo art for display..hopefully a few more will turn up *to help us through the desert of boredom that is Beta (where we are given scraps at best)*

Now that some guy in the comments section of Barlog's blog has posted a large version of the latest 'boxart', I have been able to analyze it..I regonize a few things seen in it..but can't tell who/what those figures around that doorway are..

~I hate waiting..
