I liked the Tony Hawk series. In fact, I own Underground 1 and 2, American Wasteland, and Project 8. The Pro Skater series was alright to me and Proving Ground was ok. My favorite was Underground 1 and my least favorite was Project 8.

I found the Pro Skater seires the best. It had great music, and I found it easier.

I wish I could find a copy of the third one.

Tony Hawk games always seemed hard. I could see how you're not really liking Proving Ground that much.bd0g5

I like it, it's just frustratingly hard at times. I think Proving Ground is the true American Wasteland 2 I've been looking for. :) Though I've yet to play Project 8, I bet you can't ride a BMX in it :P

I know what you mean. I don't think I've completed any Tony Hawk game 100%.
Just the storymode and about a months worth of play after that....
Then I just play it without really trying to find anything with creating new skateparks and characters. :lol:SOADjoe19

Actually, Pro Skater 3 on the GC, I completely finished (minus the gaps. I can never find them all). I finished all the character's Career Modes and got the additional levels and characters (which I also completed Career Mode with). I just never seem to find all the gaps.

I thought Underground 1 was the worst. It was pretty good the first time I played, but after that, it just felt so dull. I've played other TH games more than once and they never seem to lose that spark. I still find American Wasteland and Underground 2 enjoyable too. I'd really like to try Underground 2 Remix on the PSP. It's got loads of extras! :D

Everyone says Pro Skater 2 is the best, and I'd have to agree. :) I love the levels it has to offer. It was also one of my first PS1 games (I think I got 3 :P). :)

Of the 4 Pro Skater games, I think I like 2 and 3 best, though 1 has some awesome levels, it's really slow to get into because of the lack of tricks that were added after it (Manuals, Reverts and Spine Transfers).

Another one I just remembered was Downhill Jam. That one was pretty fun too.

Eh, I heard about it for like two weeks and then it disappeared. It sounded like it would be something interesting though...

I think a very long time ago, I played that on a friend's N64. Don't remember it at all though.

Ofcourse, I'll be getting it for the same platform. 8) Probably isn't much better on the Wii anyway.
