Hello everybody! I'm really sorry for not talking on here much. The reason for this is that I am currently writing the story to the game on DA. Here's a link to my page if your interested in reading it:

I am doing this to organize my thoughts first so I can see how the storyline will progress because it keeps changing with each passing day and I want a good storyline that I know my thoughts will stick to. After this I will begin to work on the game.

The one on fanfiction I sort of stopped working on. I was taking on way too many things at once and with college, exams, and other crazy stuff going on I couldn't work on the story on fanfiction. I started the story on there since it was an idea that hit my head but I didn't create the whole storyline to it. Because of this I might discontinue it. Sorry if it will seem like I gave up on it but I want to concentrate on "The twilight Soul" more since I am truly putting my heart and soul into creating it. I am even taking 20 minutes just to write one paragraph and the chapters are now ranging from 2000-3000 words! And when I get done with this story it's going to evolve into my RPG and if I ever figure out a way to, it will evolve into a MMORPG too. But if you were talking about my current story I am going to update it hopefully by tomarrow if I have the time.

Also I would put my story on fanfiction.net but there is one slight problem...it's an entirely orginal idea. Which means it has it's own universe so I can't put it on any category in fanfiction.net. Thats why I am writing it on deviantart. 

That's alright Eric. It's best not to weigh yourself down with so much stuff to do.

You still have all summer to write the other stories anyway, so school should be top priority. We can wait. 

Hello everyone. I haven't posted on here in awhile since I have been working on the story for the game and I have been playing the xbox 360 a lot. Anyway I am posting in this topic again because after I figured out how the main quest of the game is going to go and after realizing that I will have a little too many party members to include I might need to drop b5dog's, godofmadness', and ilikegodofwar's character requests. I feel really bad about doing this because I know you three really wanted to be in it but I am very worried I won't be able to develop them right since the main plot makes it hard for me to include the characters or I will have so many party members following the character at once that I will have trouble managing all of them. This is how many party members I would have if I kept it the way it was (Sieg, Zaven, 3 other dragon slayers, Hyperion, Blayze, Sarah, b5dog, Mark, ilikegodofwar's character, Tsurugi, Henry, Victor, a lighting dragon slayer, and 2 beastman altogether make 17 party members while the average amount of party members I have seen in games is 7-9. I know I will still be over that average but I feel it will be a lot better for me and for the player who plays to game to only have to handle 14 party members. Also if you noticed I dropped out the normal human class since I thought it was kind of weak compared to the others. Also I didn't drop out Blayze and Hyperion because I already developed them in the story already and have become very important characters within the story.

If one of you wishes to change your character to one of the beast man I wouldn't have a problem with that since I can fit them in the story. If I have 2 or more requests for it though I need to talk to slyfan08 first and see if she wants to be one of the beastman since I asked her if she wanted to be one of the characters.

 To godofmadness: If you want to change your character to the lighting dragon slayer I can fit in your character. If you don't want to then anyone else can take that spot if they want to.

Oh dude, i'm sry, I totaly forgot you were making your game and I never submited my character, damn, and now your talking about how you have too many characters, and too many party members etc.

But I didn't quite understand how you plan to have all the party members following the main character or the party member that's at the top of the list, I know in FF2 or 1 or something it was like that, who evers name was at the top of the pt list was the one that'd be walking around when you're not in battle, they never actualy had all the pt members on screen unless it was a cut-scene between the pt and a big bad guy or something like that for example.

That sounded a little confusing reading it again, what I mean to ask is, when your walking around are all the characters on screen at the same time? Shouldn't it be like the FF GBA games where the pt just sorta converges on one character then you walk around with only that one?

My other thought would be, is it too late to submit my own character(s) for your game, like, I wouldn't mind if they weren't playable characters, like just dudes to talk to that starts a mini quests or, talk to you randomly about himself and his family or how the story of your game is effecting them in your world or something lol.

What I meant by following the character was that I would have too many characters to place within the storyline which would be difficult to present during conversations especially when all of them are traveling togehter. I would have it like the original Fianl Fantasy's since I don't have the option of certain character models following the character. What basically was concerning me was the fact that the player would have 17 party members to level up and receive certain skills within the game which becomes very boring towards the player.

Also in your last paragraph (which I thank you for btw because you gave me a brillent idea!) I could do that which would be fine too with the characters (which I might do to the other character requests if I don't get a response from them in a period of time (it depends on how fast I write the story)) or I can also make boss battles out the characters too and also make them main storyline characters (since I thought up a good scenario with godofmadness' character Mark which I think would be pretty cool (good characters can fight good characters they just don't die afterwards)).

Don't worry I don't kill off important characters.

Basically what I have for your guy is that he's a dragon slayer that secluded himself from the rest of the world with a seperate group of dragons (I hope you don't mind if I come up with this plot line but I am trying to connect the characters as best I can to the world of Luvia (I think that's what I came up with for the world name)). Anyway your character has seen the way the ligh slayers treat some of the dragons (I metioned this in chapter 5 a bit and will show it later in the story) and how the dark slayers kill dragons for their own selfish gain so he trusts no one. So when Sieg and his party enter the area the dragons are scared of them and your character fights the party even though the party didn't want to fight (I'll make your guy sound really cool here trust me). Fight scene. Afterwards Sieg pins Mark down but doesn't kill them but instead extends a hand to him. And afterwards Mark decides to help Sieg in various ways (I am thinking obtaining powerful skills, secret hints to ultimate weapon upgrades, hidden treasure location clues...you can think of other things if you want I can do anything within the game ^_^). Or he joins the light slayer army and helps fight the dark slayers.

Anyway tell me if you like this scenario or not if not please give me some ideas to work with to make your character cooler.

nice scenerio, it kinda fits him, there is also another thing i wanted to add. Mark also has a companion that travels with him which is a wolf called Shadow. He found Shadow when he caught his leg in a trap, he got it out and bandaged it, gave it some food and left. the wolf followed him to his place and Mark decided to keep him and named him Shadow, since then he helps Mark search for treasure and fights with daggers, but usually he sleeps all day. Shadow also has a weakspot for cute girls, human girls, which causes him to act differently, such as rubbing himself on the girl's legs and growl's lightly when they cratch his ear. He's also protective of Mark and his friends and steps in front of them when someone tries to hurt them, he's especially protective to females he knows.

Oh and one of his themes is the song from the show Beyblade called "I'm not going down" listen to it on youtube and you'll understand why this might fit him. If you have another song that could fit him then show me.

Hmmm, interesting I think the boss battle is going to be much cooler now :). Well in other news I found one of my favorite battle themes of all time and wish I coud download but I don't know where I could find it:

i think this would describe DK mark( my main charcater in my story) and some tragic moments he suffered as a kid, this speaks of his heart going through this and longing for friends and family to comfort him. Dragon Valor: Brize Forest - first game that gave me inspiration to the storyline I'm writing now (even though dragons were viewed as the ultimate evil...still it's an awesome game and if anyone has a chance to play it I totally recommand it).
