This is the one thread every union has, the official introduction thread. Tell us a little about yourself, why you joined the union and get acquainted with your fellow members. I will start.

My name is Josh, but my nickname is Sparky. I like video games and writing. I write many things including poems, songs and novels. I am the leader of this union and have wanted to form it for a long time. I create video blogs every week or two and I like to blog. I try to respond to all my friends blogs even if I have nothing good to say. Well, thats me in a nutshell. Take 'er easy mates.

Hobbies: Writing (of course), video games (of course), review-writing, making friends, chatting with friends, school (well, I guess technically that's not a hobby but strangely I sort of like school),

Place where I live: California

Speical things you should know about me in order to get me: as the message says, I wrote two books. One, the Neoswordmaster, the other, its sequel. I was awarded five times for best writer award for schools, clubs, business and more. I have divorced parents and I live with my mom, stepdad and cousin, and visit my father and soon-to- be stepmom. I like anyone whose willing to respect me and understand everyone has problems, not just you. I have a particularly hard but also easy life and I write just about every day.

Reason why I join this union:

1. I'm a writer

3. This is the first union that I've come across that isn't condescending (besides the unions I'm already in).

My interests are music, writing, music and of course video games.

Well, I'm Robin, and I've been on GS for a while now. I used to have my own union, but scrapped it when everyone stopped participating, though not until after a lot of effort on my part. I am currently a student at Western Michigan University with a major in English Literature and a minor in Medieval Studies. I plan to go back to graduate school after getting my undergraduate degree and get my PHD so I can teach at the college level. I am currently working at Circuit City (it pays the bills... sometimes), but my first ambition has always been to be a writer.

I write mostly fantasy, but I also write songs, poetry, academic essays, and stories with other themes. The majority of my planned novels are fantasy. I have an unhealthy obsession with vampires (I'm very pale). I am also interested in Ancient Egypt, anything that has to do with the paranormal, mythology/religion, and things like tarot cards, divination, astrology, and the like.

Other things I like to do in my free time include video games (obviously... I like mostly RPGs and survival horror), reading (favorite book is House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien), listening to music (a wide variety), and watching movies (mostly fantasy, action, and horror, but show me anything and I'll give it a chance).

Hello everyone, I'm Sarge_Maximus2, and I love to write, though I often get writer's block halfway through my longer works so they've never been finished. I do encourage everyone here to read and, if you so choose, recommend my reviews because I think they are quite good but I'm open to feedback. One thing I love to do here on gamespot is post blogs, and I encourage everyone here to read my intelectual ones that I've written, please refrain from any stupid comments if you choose to comment on them because I get alot of those, if you do comment on them, please comment on the blog, not what everyone else has said. lol. Hope I don't sound like another one of those arrogant high-level gamespot members (no offense to our high level members of course) I'm actually a great guy once you get to know me which I am hopeful will happen with this union.
