I'm bookmarking your page for future viewing (Sorry, you versus Hitchcock means Hitchock wins :P) so I'll check that out later.

At any rate, I certainly hope that this enthusiasm of yours continues. :D

In the last week and a bit, 9 new members have joined the union. A couple have posted, some haven't, I would like to welcome everyone to the Writers' Lounge. If you guys have any issues, send me a pm and I'll do my best to help ya'll out.

Today I noticed the movie "She's All That" was on and couldn't help wondering, why would she want to be? What that incurs is not a positive thing, being with the general "in-crowd". There's a reason they're so emotional--there's a lot of things wrong with them: lost priorities, bad decisions. No, I'm not one of those people who goes to therapy over those mean other kids, nor am I part of that other group and that's just typical hazing. What is true is that I go to school, do the work, get 83% and come home. It's quite simple, really. I don't drink, smoke, swear, or date, nor have any tattoos, piercings or hair other than a plain short haircut. Anything that comes up from being at school is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with those above truths. Oh, now you know. I'm one of those church choirboys too scared to do any wrong. Way off. I don't have a religion, no need for it. If that's the case, I must be one of those vegan atheist activists out to save the world that doesn't want saving. Not at all the case either. I may not be a proponent of religion, but I know what is feasible and what is a priority, and rallies that accomplish nothing other than agitate a bunch of people I know isn't how to do it. Wait, that must be my catch. I'm one of those people who lives and dies by the teachers pen-stroke in order to get to the most prestigious school, which includes school presidency and the like; essentially Carlton from Fresh Prince. No, that's not it either; as I said before, I go to school, do the work, get 83% and come home. There are no extra-curricular activities, if I try to, the school screws it up anyway. So now you're frantically looking for my hook. What is it? Who is this guy? Who am I? I'm 83%...at everything. Even taking my high school marks by year, which fluctuate; all things balance to 83%. 81, 81, 88, 83 were my schools grades 9 through twelve. That totals 333. 83 across the board totals 332. Baseball, for as long as I've played it, I've never been the best, never been a bottom player. I knew the fundamentals, and that alone, sadly, made me better than most; 83% to be exact. The catch? There is no catch. I'm a nice person. Know anyone like me?

Im new....heard about this union from my lil bro who just made an account using my laptop earlier today :lol: I guess I should thank him sine this union seems alot more active than mine or any writing union i've been in on GS!!!

My name is skelebull (chris if you like). I've had a story in my head since Year 8 (4 years ago) and have been slowly developing the story and its been progressing only as a plan. :P The exams are killing me and taking a lot of my time so I've only written about one page until now. I'm very good in poetry and have liked writing poetry and had an interest in writing for quite some time. HELLO everybody!

Hey, I'm Australian and yes I have seen a kangaroo in the wild, I've never eaten barbequed shrimp and I don't like footy.

Now that we've got that out of the way there's not much to say really.
I love football, music, telivision, films most things!

Writting wise lately I've been writting a lot as I've been unable to attend school for the past few years which means i have a lot of time to write.
Still somehow i still haven't something I've been writting for 6 months - 1 year due to its length and unplanned things constantly happening! Thankfully it's almost finished though.
Oh and there's some stuff I've written in my profile and int he writer's lounge contest thread so read away if you're interested.Foolz3h

Hello. I am wondering if I can post my stories in this board (obviously not in this topic). I have two major stories currently, both partly done. Check them both out on my profile if you want to see them before deciding. I want tons of comments, especially some constructive criticism. That is the point of your union. Tons of comments? You'll get a few, we are still growing as a union, but we have a solid member base. My only request is that you post all the chapters in the same topic, I don't care how you do it, but it just has to be in one topic. Welcome, and well you seem to be very enthusiastic, I like that.

Indeed you are right, though I must leave so I am unable to read them, for now. I got a huge list of stuff to do with this union, new quote of the week; update the archive; read stories; respond, etc. But for constructive criticism, you've come to the right place. My issue is that a lot of people are "too nice" and won't give you the criticism you crave and will just tell you its good, which is sometimes the case. Moreover, they just dont want to "hurt your feelings" or somethng ...oh well, none of that exists here, people are as open as they can be when it comes to their opinion. Have a good time mate.

I've liked writing for a long time. I'm not a particularly good writer, but I write every day. I mainly get my inspiration from video games and fantasy books. I do write a lot of poetry, but nobody ever reads it. Maybe I'll try posting here.

 eh. We all go through that kind of things. I suggest you go look at this topic and try it out, it should help you with your lack of inspiration as of late. If not, it will help you get rid of a good 20 minutes or so :P
