Chris Benoit and Family, Found Dead

I can't believe this happened. I read about him earlier today but didn't see this coming. I turned on Raw late as I thought the was going to be the three hour vince show. I got chills when I saw the memory of chris and family. This is a sad loss to his family, wrestling, and everyone else who's lives he has impacted.

Guys...I don't want to be negative here, but...please don't see me ina bad light. It's just the way I see alright.

Benoit decides to leave because of family problems...and then his entire family is dead. Could benoit have..no I just won't believe it. But then his wife would have had to. In most murder suide cases with kids...the parent usually killed them.

It is strange, but regardless, this is hard for me to wrap my head around. But the truth is the truth, Chris, his wife and his son have left us too soon. I know this is obvious - but there will never be any wrestler as great as Chris Benoit ever again.

RIP Chris.

Oh, and I will never believe for a second that Benoit killed them, he loved his family. But the suicide I can believe. He came home and found his family dead and commited suicide to be with them. But I am NOT going to jump to conclusions on this. I'll wait for the official report tomarrow.

wow, i went to check my emails and i saw a picture of benoit and immediately knew something was bad as i remembered his absence from vengeance. i quickly checked this forum and saw the thread title.

this is devestating to fans, wrestlers and the sport of wrestling. i can only imagine how much this hurts those who he inspired to be wrestlers (there's a lot of them i'm guessing).

he was the best. there's no doubting that.
i don't think it's up to us the decide how he died, thats for the investigators to figure out, when you try to do it on your own stupid and unsettling thoughts go into your head. i mean, is that what you want to be thinking about? watch some of his matches (thanks sephy) and remember why he was the best.

I don't want to believe it either. However, the article said that the investigation was being treated as a murder-suicide, and Benoit being the suspect is just what they believe.

They won't have anything conclusive until tomorrow. Still, this is utterly tragic to say the least.

Still hasn't hit me yet. My favorite wrestler, the rabid wolverene, always so intense and present in the ring, Chris Benoit is dead. I can't fathom it yet. Put aside the amazing talent he displayed every week, the story behind the man truely inspired me. How Chris dedicated his entire life to be the best professional wrestler he could possibly be, all those nights he went out there and busted his ass, not giving a damn about the pain he felt to make sure every single fan respected him. And he definately did. That is something that I can't respect enough.

If you ask me, Chris Benoit is the best wrestler of all time. This is no bull**** I'm pulling out of my ass just because he's dead, I truely believe this. I have never seen a better wrestler. He will truely be missed, never forgotten be me. There are bigger Benoit fans out there for me, but nobody has quite captivated me in my 7+ years I've been a fan of professional wrestling like Chris Benoit has.

I remember the night of WrestleMania XX. The PPV was 5 hours so it went up until midnight I believe. I had school the next day and I remember thinking about what I badass I was for staying up that late watching wrestling(I was 13 at the time). I had to stay up just to see Chris Benoit win it. There has never been a more touching moment than seeing Benoit and Eddie Guerrero embrased in the ring in tears in the center of Madison Square Garden. Now they're both gone...

At Vengeance last night, I was really looking foward to seeing Benoit vs. CM Punk. I thought for sure Benoit would win, and I was pissed as hell when I saw he was replaced by Johnny Nitro. At least I was able to watch his final match with Elijah Burke last Tuesday with my brother. Watching that again tonight is eerily similar to when I see Eddie Guerrero's final match against Mr. Kennedy.

I really don't think Benoit did it, just for the reason that Chicago_Nut was talking about, why would he miss a match and go home and kill his family, and also some else on this board post that he loves his family too much to kill them and that is so very true, and also if Benoit did do it then, I would be shock.

I also reameber that when I was reading on a few wrestling news websits, they said, that they do know who did it, but when I first saw it on Yahoo sports headline, and read that it said that Benoit had Commited a murdure-suacide, and I just can think of Benoit killing his family and now I'm loseing my words so the last thing I'm going to say is.........Benoit did noy do it!!!!!

Jesus I come home from work to find out about this. I have already cried a bit about this loss. Seeing Punk in tears just got me going.
