ok so here's a place we can talk about video games, not just wrestling games, but anything. tell us what ur favorite game is, recommend some, what are you playing now, why a certain game sucks. since this is GAMEspot, it's only natural we all like games.

also i decided to make this because the other off topic thread would get to convuluted with topics that video game discussion would get lost in the mix.

the unreal engine looks amazing. i can't wait to see how unreal tourny 2006 turns out. that's gonna be a graphical masterpiece.

i'm going to go buy a game tonight. anyone have any suggestions? i'm kinda aiming towards unreal championship 2, tiger woods 2005, mario and luigi or psychonauts.

is day of reckoning worth getting? i was thinking about getting it. or is smackdown: hctp better? i would get smackdown vs. raw but my ps2 won't play new games (stupid ps2 hardware) and i know i've played hctp so hopefully it will work again.

is lesnar in day of reckoning and can u play in the story mode as a CAW? or is it just superstar?

i've rented it and i do have live. but i haven't played it on live yet. i just did that introductory stuff on the single player and got bored with single player. but i'm thinking about buying it because i love the multiplayer from the first game and the pc games and all my friends have it.

i'm actually thinking about buying day of reckoning now.

I would not buy DOR if I were you, save you $20.00 dollars and put it towards DOR 2, since it is coming out in only in a month and half (as far as America goes). While is the best wrestling game of this generation so far IMHO, I do not if you just want to play an old game. When the you can buy the newer version in less than 2 months for an extra $30.00 and have a much better update roster, music, atire, music and etc compared to DOR 1.

But if you do not plan to buy DOR 2 anytime soon, than DOR 1 is awesome game with Great Graphics, fun-fast paced gameplay, simply and easy to learn controls, detailed CAW and should give you plenty of replay vaule.

As far the other games, I have only played Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, if you like the other Mario RPG's, you should like this one. But if you did not like the other games in the line-up, this one will proabably not change your mind.

I have some reasons why Smackdown HCTP is better than Smackdown vs Raw. HCTP has multiple backstage areas while SVR has only one. HCTP has longer story modes. The voice over on SVR is terrible. I no theres more but those are my top three.

I plan to buy all 3 at lanuch (NR, PS3 & X360), I am sick of missing out on greats games for the PS2 and Xbox One.

with DOR i felt that the gameplay and matches never got old because there was so much to do. the CAW mode was very impressive, you could create anybody with some time. in HCTP the story mode is definately better and there are more match types but in the end i had more fun with DOR. its constantly fun and i dont usually see that in wrestling games.

What is your least favorite wrestling game that you have played and give your reasons why?

WWE Raw 2: This game had some of the most horrible controls I have every played with, they felt broken. The game was so slow paced, that it made No Mercy look like fast paced gameplay and I wonder to myself what the developers where thinking? I mean, it took forever to get to through the animation of grapple to a finishing move, which made the game not even playable in any sense of the manner, because of the slow-slow-slow gameplay and broken controls.

The Graphics look bad, it look like someone took the wrestler and put them in candy apple, very strange and horrible looking. Also, the ring-entrances did not even look like the real thing, as there was no realistic camera angles, lighting effects or anything special. The story mode was lame, there was no text, so you could tell what was going on and you had to guess by the movements of the wrestlers, I wounder who thought that would be good idea.

I remember hearing the developers that made this game got fired, rightful so IMHO. Anyone who makes lame trash like this game, should reconsider about making games for a living, because I do not understand how they thought this game would even be close to a good idea. This game did not have a whole lot good about it, sure it had a nice roster and music, but that is about the only two things that were good about.Besides, those two things do not matter if you have gameplay, or rather lack of it in your game and the damn thing is not even close to playable and the controls are some of the worst in gaming history IMHO.

People say Wrestlemania XXI is bad, but I challenge to say that is worse than WWE Raw 2, but because nothing can be worse than this smelly piece of trash of a game. At least, I hope it cannot get worse than WWE Raw 2, I would fall over dead if I played a game that was lamer than this. Maybe Wrestlemania XXI could be worse, but that is why I am not taking my chances of playing anything worse than the horrible piece of trash game know as WWE Raw 2. In fact, this game also wins the award for least favorite game of all-time and most every other award for being lame IMHO.
