Superman hasn't changed much since he was introduced. He's honestly highly overrated. Nightcrawler is way more than just a mutant teleporter by the way. He is the son of Mystique, and has a cooler backstory than Kal-El.

I am kind of surprised Superman didn't take this one though... Then again, he hasn't had a good movie in forever, and that seems to be how people are picking the winners, because several of the winners have just had big time movies come out so they are fresh on everyone's mind. If they weren't options, who knows how this one would turn out. :P (Oh, and for the record, I voted for Nightcrawler... Why? Because Nightcrawler is probably my favorite X-Men hero, where Superman barely makes the top 5 of my favorite DC Superheroes).

I know I'm standing alone on this one. But Fone Bone is one of the most underrated heroes of all time. He's the hero among his two cousins, which consist of one idiot and a greedy cheater. His massive crush on Thorn also makes the entire Bone series the most underrated comic book series all time in my opinion. Fone Bone by miles for me. Joemcmark

As I said, I don't expect him to win, I just think he deserves a bigger chance. Also I consider him a hero, not a superhero, but a hero.
