But the way it was edited together makes the damn thing near unwatchableTGM_basic
exactly this which was my problem with it, it was like they were doing a damn flash back or something every 5 minutes and it'd keep doing it over and over mid dialogue or when anything was happening at all

I didn't like Oblivion, is was real boring :?shoe_crap78
yeah I wouldn't of recommended it for you as I figured most movies with a story would go over your head :P

i only saw oblivion out of those at the theater and it was brilliant and i thought kevin hart only had 1 movie which is on now??chosenhype
I think he has 2 stand up movies (maybe more) but they only made the new one because of the success of "laugh at my pain" a few years ago, I will see the new one when it's out

Yup. It's okay, but holy crap is it a mixed bag of a movie. Parts of it are brilliant, and other parts are garbage, and it's drastic inconsistancies actually makes it the most frustrating X-Men movie to sit through thus far, IMO. http://cwiddop.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-wolverine.html

burt wonderstone- had to see a movie with steve carell and jim carrey in it, to keep it short I did like it overall and had some really funny parts but has a really weird sense of humor that some may not like, best part was the very end after they do the final trick- 7/10

In case anyone cared, I wrote up a little rant comparing this year's two White House destruction movies, arguing why White House Down is a far better movie and doesn't require nearly as much suspension of disbelief as the idiotic Olympus Has Fallen. :P http://cwiddop.blogspot.com/2013/08/olympus-has-fallen.html

Watched Identity Thief last night. Mixed opinions. It was funny sometimes and really silly others. Maybe like a 6/10.

The Place Beyond The Pines is one of the better movies I've seen so far this year. My full review.

Anyone looking forward to Elysium this weekend?

olympus has fallen- this movie was a blast but TGM was right when he said how fake it was, mainly butler's role, I've heard about highly trained but jesus, this guy had hundreds of other highly trained men die just feet away from him and not only did he live but went on to kill dozens of terrorists with his bare hands and a pistol of waves and waves of guys in teams of like 5 men  he never even got shot and basically walked away with just a small cut on his face, was this a superman crossover movie? :P but the cast was amazing and rick yune was amazing in this role, ton of action and held my attention once it got started and just had fun watching it- 7.5/10

In a year where we've been absolutely bombarded by a seemingly endless wave of mediocre films, no movie truly defines the word "mediocre" quite like Elysium. My full, 100% accurate and in depth review: http://cwiddop.blogspot.com/2013/08/elysium.html

scary movie 5- ehhh not a lot to say, I think my least favorite of these films, mostly spoofed current horror films but horror films these days are so bad and just blood and guts instead of trying to be scary so there wasn't many funny parts outside of the beginning with charile sheen and lindsay lohan in the beginning, no anna faris either was kinda weird, just wasn't all that funny for me but had a few good parts- 6/10

they set up cameras and a similar house like paranormal activity but didn't really spoof the movie, mostly spoofed "mama" and the mom was in ballet and spoofed black swan and dad worked with apes which was spoofing rise of the planet of the apes but sadly that really never went anywheres then a lot of others were spoofed here and there like evil dead and inception

I am deff going to try that, I'll be honest though the only thing I've seen tatum in that I remember was 21 jump street which I did like him in a lot but I'm a bit unsure if I'm going to like him in a serious lead action role, jamie foxx as president should be good though especially because right before that he was a slave in django :P

I'll see it most likely when it comes to dvd and I can watch it for free, the 1st was alright but I mainly liked the 1st half when it was just him and he went around getting his ass kicked and more comedy was in it but when cage and that wicked annoying little girl came along I started to lose interest for whatever reason

Yeah... I'm not Nic Cage's biggest fan, but him as Big Daddy was great. Then when it came to Chloe Moretz, she basically stole the show in the original Kick-Ass. Her first appearance as Hit-Girl was something you just can't forget.

I plan on seeing Kick-Ass 2 this weekend. I'm not really expecting much, since a different Director is on board (even if the first one is a producer) and I'm sure the budget is bigger than the first one thanks to the success the first one had.

If the commercials prove anything, he was a complete failure. Steve Jobs is a hard role to play, but by the commercials it made it seem like Kutcher didn't even try to do much of anything to seperate Kutcher from the role he was playing... But that's a problem of Kutcher's.

The comercials really don't do him any justice at all. He fumbles a little from time to time, but overall, he was actually surprisingly pretty damn convincing.

A little bit here and there.

Just saw The Butler today, and... *sigh*... I'm really getting tired of mediocre movies. 2013 has f*cking blown...
