I've listened to their singles from the album and they still got it after all these years. Peart still has his drumming skills and Lee's voice is still great, I think this album will be great

Ahh yeah, LL Cool J was a real MC. Funny thing is J actually could've been a boxer but he chose rapping instead which is what inspired the song.Â
His beat is knockin, real firece lyrics and his delivery is real tight. Perfect track to just pump yourself up

Same here, I rap myself both in serbian and english and so naturally I'm into it too. I like other genres as well, rock though I never was big on the grunge stuff. some pop, jazz and smooth jazz lol
for those of you that don't know dylan was a veteran here for years up til about a year ago under account name d-true-king or something and said he always wanted to be a rapper, I really didn't expect too much when he kept telling me to hear his rap but I finally did and can't lie it's actually pretty decent, if he wants to do more though he's gona need to get his face out there
Here is a free $tyle I liked, it's really only about 2 min but then just repeats again, but really not too bad

Damn, that was pretty solid. He's definitely got some flow. I wish me and this dude would've met on here, I rap too and it's near impossible to find any other people into rapping in the wreslting fanbase community
he does have something there, what surprises me is he's white and still in highschool I believe, (nothing racist here he just does NOT sound like a young white guy) meaning if he actually got his face out there who knows

I see what you mean, I'm white too (Serbian) and rapping is huge in Serbia . If you ever get a chance get out Marcelo its in Serbian but he's got some great rythm
Â
I rap with a thick accent, but still IMO its about how your flow is and your quickness with vocab

oh for sure, my biggest thing is lyrics and timing, thats why eminem and tech n9ne will forever be my favorite rappersthis usually starts arguments but IMO, people like lil wayne are garbage, his lyrics are mild, his timing is average, yeah he does have some great beats but that's usually the producers job (why dre is my fav producer of all time) but I never got the big deal of him, saying "best rapper alive" 90 times in a song doesn't help you live up to your self given title

Definitely Weezy is awful, he had 1 maybe 2 decent songs back in 2005 but now all his stuff sounds the same. I personally dislike it when all rappers are about is stuff like guns, and mocking women. I like when it goes deeper than that
Â
I also thought Dre could be a bit repetitive, and I found 50 cent slightly overrated. Then again I like T-Pain so who am I to talk lol :P
Â
FINALLY someone agrees! wayne, khalifa, I don't understand it, so hard to find good rap these days, I don't mind the whole gangs and gun talk until it's becomes all the same, there's people like DMX who used to just rap about how much of a badass he is and can't lie loved it and had so much energy then as time went on he started to about his life and religon, and dre could sometimes but IMO dre is the rap god and overall no one can compare to him, only 3 albums but made or helped just about every amazing rapper out there now it seems (eminem, jay z, kanye, ect) his resume amazes me, and honeslty never liked 50 cent, some awesome beats but thats from dre and em, can't even understand what he's saying
I have to listen to T-pain still, theres people like that I was never to fond of years ago then all of a sudden enjoyed like kanye and BoB, again not the best lyrics but amazing energy flow and beats :D

Me neither, especially Khalifa!, Mac Miller or Soulja Boy or alot of the stuff you see gettin hype these days
I see people all the time calling Lil Wayne the future of hip hop and everytime I hear that i can't beieve it. DMX I agree he could get really repttiive but he could be real deep when he wants too. Plus songs like slippin by him are great imo. He's lyrics are so so but hes got that fire which makes up for him. His stuff is great to pump yourself up
Yeah Dre is deff one of the greats, I've got a bunch of his songs like let me ride, still dre, dre day, nothin but a g thang, the next episode and some of the not so known ones like housewife and light speed.Â
When you look at east coast vs west coast hip hop there's tons of difference. east coast is usually about life in the hood, surviving the streets guys like styles P, Biggie, Jada Kiss were all very hardcore
West is much the stuff you cruise too and more mellow. Still great though and amazing rappers in both sides
then you've got the south and crunk which i think kinda sucks. Still whenever I see people say "Hip hop sucks" I always think damn, you listened to it all that quick?
I'm not a fan of Lil Wayne. His one good song was Mrs. Officer, and that was because of the other people in it. He should stick to doing Game's chrouses like in Red Nation and My Life.
And I bet you can't guess who my favorite rapper is :).Â
lol crunk, you wana hear repetitive?! WHAAAAAT?!?! YEEAAAHUH! OOOOOOOHHHHHK!!
and deff DMX to pump you up, had a mix cd of him I used for my workouts and that thing prob doesn't work anymore I used it so much  my fav song of his though is "lord give me a sign" no a fire song, but pretty deep and shows good lyrics
for dre, you have NO IDEA how much and HOW LONG I've been waiting for detox to come out, rap is pretty dead right now and he needs to come save it, and he really needs to save eminem and help him go back to the old days rather then his sell out junk now (recovery sounded ok but I thought the meaning over all was junk)
I never really got into the west vs east thing, I really never payed attention to whose what, just like good music :P
@ twist I'm gona say em!!....., and I heard that bad meets evil album a couple times and I must say em sounded a little vicious in that which is what we all loved about him, not doing songs with rhiana and lil wayne and saying "I'm not afraid" which gets all these kids and girls who all of a sudden like him who know nothing about music
@ Baltimore- exactly man, it dont even matter east or west. What matters is you like it. I still get mad when people try to copy off T-pain though stealing his style and everything
Â
@ Twist- Im gonna say Lupe Fiasco just to say it Lol!
Lupe ain't bad. I'm a big fan of The Game, Young Jeezy, as evidenced by RT song, and of course, Eminem. My top 5 would have to be.Â
5. Kanye West
4. Lowkey
3. The Game
2. Young Jeezy
1. Eminem (includes BME & D12)
I gotta say my favorites would be
1 Notorious BIG
2-Joe Budden
3- Nas
4- Jay- Z
5- Joelle Ortiz
Â
I could go on and on Lol :P
Ohhh if we're taking currents then
Â
1- Jay Z
2- Joe Budden
3- Lupe Fiasco
4- Styles P
5- Common
Â
I like Eminem but personally he's not in my fave five. His lyrics are sick though
I like T-Pain too but IMO I much prefer his R&B jams he did rather than his rap.
Also check out this beat by DMX which is one of the darkest rap beats I've ever heard The omen
Speaking of hip-hop, has anyone seen a show called Wild n Out. It's on sometimes at 1 in the morning on MTV here (CST), and it's basically a hip-hop improv show hosted by nick cannon. It's hilarious. It featured special guest who were sometimes rappers, sometimes not.
For example, Snoop Dogg went on the show, so did Ne-Yo and Common (although Common didn't do a damn thing). Also Kenan Thompson and Wayne Brady were on the show. You guys should check it out.

i listen to them and i listen to other rock/punk all that stuff
but rest assure as far as how it sounds i keep it to a limit nothing to insane
i think avenge sevenfold or System of a down is as insane as i will go anything after that no thank you
and rest assure i do not act or dress like them :)
lol sorry wasn't getting at that :P I heard one of their popular songs and didn't like it to much, then my friend showed me their cover of a pantera song, cowboys from hell or walk, and then I HATED them, if you're gona cover a band that amazing you better bring it, and they didnt, neither did avenged sevenfold who covered walk
and speaking of a7x I never liked them, I like bat country and the single that came out the same time as almost easy, but other then that I think their extremely over rated (talent wise)
I love system though :P
very very very very few punk bands I can listen to, but love all rock, metal anything heavy ect
I like some metal, and rock. Though I love classic rock much more
