• The pyrotechnics go off and the SmackDown theme song plays throughout the arena.
• JR: Welcome to Friday Night SmackDown! I'm Jim Ross here with the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley.
• MF: Thank you, JR, tonight is another matchup in that #1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament as Cryme Tyme faces off against Edge and Christian Cage.
• JR: That match is next but later tonight, Goldberg will face off with the Undertaker as I'm sure Kurt Angle will be closely watching this matchup and scouting his opponents.
• MF: You bet JR

#1 CONTENDERS TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT: ROUND 1
"Cryme Tyme" JTG & Shad Vs. Edge & Christian Cage
Ladder Match

• "Cryme Tyme's" music hits and they comes out to the top of the ramp. As they walk down the ramp, JTG is dancing to their music as Shad casually walks. They enter the ring and wait for their opponent.
• Edge's music hits and fog smoke starts to come out of the top of the ramp. Edge and Christian Cage walk through it. Edge stops halfway to the ring and does a corna in the air with both hands as his pryotechnics while Cage slowly walks to the ring. Edge then charges to the ring and he and Cage enter at the same time. They stare at Cryme Tyme and then they both climb up to the top rope where they both do a corna in the air with both hands.
• Everyone takes off their spare stuff and the ref signals to ring the bell. This match is underway. Cage goes after Shad and Edge goes after JTG. Edge corners JTG and starts to kick him in the gut until he is seated on the mat. Edge hits a hard kick to the jaw of the ground JTG and then gets him to his feet. Edge Irish Whips him into the opposite ring corner and charges. JTG gets out of the way and Edge stops. JTg goes for a clothesline but Edge dodges.
• JTG turns around and SPEAR!!!! Edge then goes over to Cage and helps with Shad. Cage Irish Whips Shad into some nearby ring ropes. Shad comes back and Edge and Cage go for a clothesline but Shad dodges. He clotheslines both Cage and Edge and then exits the ring to get a ladder.
• Shad get s the ladder and gets up on the apron. He then lifts the ladder from the floor. Edge sees Shad backfirst to the ring ropes on a apron and charges. Edge shoulders him off the apron and face first into the ladder.
• The ref gets out of the ring to check on him and fend off Cage and Edge. Cage exits the ring and he goes to get a chair while Edge gets JTG back into the ring. Edge and Cage both get in the ring, Edge with JTG and cage with three steel chairs.
• Edge hits a Edgecution to JTG and then Cage places a steel chair under the front of his head. Cage then gives Edge and chair and gives him the first shot. Edge slams the chair down on JTG's head hard and then gives Cage the next shot
• Cage delivers with a loud and hard crack with the chair to JTG's downed head. Edge and Cage then rapidly start to strike JTG's head with chair until JTG's head was in a pool of his own blood.
• Cage and Edge then drop the chairs and go for the ladder outside the ring while paramedics are checking with Shad's face after landing on the ladder.
• They put the ladder in the ring and start attacking the paramedics. cage hits the Unprettier on one of them and Edge starts throwing fists at the others causing them to flee.
• Edge gets Shad into the ring and he and Cage get in the ring as well. Cage gets Shad to his feet while Edge picks up one of the chairs.
• Cage Irish Whips him towards Edge. Edge smacks him right in the head with the chair and now both Shad and JTG are in the ring bleeding from the face.
• Cage sets up the ladder and Edge drops the chair to start climbing. Cage flips Shad onto his back and starts to pound away at his blood unriden face.
• Edge unhooks the briefcase and raises the briefcase in the air as his music hits. Edge gets off the ladder and he and Cage raise each other's hands covered in blood.
• Shawn Michaels music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp. He stares and Jericho's music hits and he comes out to join them. Michaels has a mic in his hand. Michaels: "No, you are wrong Edge. it is you who is going to pay for every putting your nose in mine and Jericho's buisiness."*Jericho grabs the mic* Jericho:" Also, the worst...it is truely yet...to come..for you.
• Jericho's music hits and he and Michaels go backstage as Edge and Cage stare on.

James Storm Vs. AJ $tyles

• James Storm's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp drinking beer. Storm heads to the ring and enters. He raises his beer in the air and then takes a drink from it.
• AJ $tyles music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp with Tomko at his side. $tyles flips off his hood and he heads to the ring while his rain pyro falls at the HD set. $tyles enters the ring and Tomko stays outside the ring. AJ does his phenomenal taunt for the crowd and then takes of his hoody.
• Storm takes off his, coat, sun glasses and cowboy hat and throws them outside the ring. The ref signals to ring the bel as the match is underway.
• $tyles and Storm start to grapple and Storm breaks it up and goes for a legsweep. $tlyes jumps over the legsweep and hits an inverted DDT. AJ then goes for the pin..1...2 and Storm kicks out. AJ gets Storm to his feet and his a hard right to the chest.
• $tyles then Irish Whips Storm into nearby ring ropes. Storm comes back and AJ hits a dropkick to Storm before going for the pin..1...2 and Storm kicks out again. $tyles then gets to his feet and gets outside to the ring apron. He stalks Storm as he slowly gets to his feet.
• Storm is now at his feet and AJ jumps up to the ring ropes and goes for a springboard clothesline but Storm gets out of the way quickly causing AJ to crash and burn as he slams into the ring mat. Storm rolls AJ onto his back and goes for the pin
• 1...2.. and AJ kicks out. Storm gets AJ to his feet and Irish Whips him into a ring corner. Storm charges and hits the elbow to $tyles face. Storm then climbs to the middle ring rope in the corner and starts to hit AJ in the forehead with repeated right hands.
• AJ moves out of the corner carrying Storm on his shoulders. AJ drops him to the mat and hits an enzuigiri out of nowhere. $tyles goes for the pin..1...2... and Storm kicks out.
• AJ gets to his feet frustrated and gets Storm to his feet. AJ Irish Whips Storm into nearby ring ropes. Storm comes back and goes for a clothesline but he misses.
• $tyles backs into ring ropes and charges at Storm. He hits the flying forearm smash and goes for the pin. 1...2... and Storm kicks out before 3.
• $tyles then gets to his feet and tries to set Storm for the $tyles Clash but Storm stops it. Storm then pushses $tyles away. $tyles turns around and Storm goes for the Last Call(superkick) but $tyleds dodges it and turns Storm around.
• $tyles sets him up and...$TYLES CLASH!!!! AJ then goes for the pin. 1...2...3 and he wins. Tomko enters the ring and he stalks Storm as he slowly gets up.
• Tomko gets Storm into a inverted faclock and then hits a Rolling Cutter to Storm. He and AJ then exit the ring and leave to $tyles music.

WINNER: AJ $TYLES

CM Punk Vs. MVP

Quick Cut:

• CM Punk's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp where he mouths "What time is it" while he points and starts tapping his wrist. He heads to the ring and he climbs the apron up to the ring ropes. He climbs them as well and takes off his United States Championship. He raises high in the air and then jumps down into the ring.
• MVP's music hits and he comes out of his tent. He then stops halfway to the ring. He does his taunt and enters the ring. He backs into the ring ropes and stops in the middle of the ring where he does his ballin taunt.
• The ref signals to ring the bell and the match is underway. MVP and Punk grapple and MVP gets Punk in a headlock. Punk gets out of it and gets MVP into a headlock. MVP gets out of the headlock and he and Punk stare at each other.
• They both back into the ring ropes behind them and charge at each other. MVP goes for a clothesline but Punk ducks and backs into the opposite of the ring rope he back into before and so does MVP. Punk comes back and so does MVP, this time Punk goes for the clothesline but MVP dodges and now both are in the center of the ring
• Punk hits a spinning heel kick out of nowhere and goes for the pin..1..2 and MVP kicks out.
• The rest of the match as Punk dominating until Helms's music hits and he comes out to ringside. This distracts Punk and MVP is able to come from behind with a pin attempt. 1...2...3 and MVP wins.
• MVP extis the ring and he and Helms head backstage up the ramp as Punk looks on holding his US title as he knows MVP pulled off a cheap win.

WINNER: MVP

Gregory Helms Vs. Ric Flair

Quick Cut:

• Gregory Helms's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp. He taunts to the crowd as he heads to the ring. He enters the ring and he climbs to the top rope where he shows with his hand and waist that he wants gold.
• Ric Flair's music hits and he comes out to the top or the ramp. He does his little dance and then walks to the ring. He enters it and he stops in the center of the ring to belt out a "WOOOOOO!
• The ref signals to ring the bell and the match is underway. Helms dominates most of the match with Flair getting a move or two, only for Helms to counter them.
• Helms gets Flair in a headlock and hits the NIGHTMARE ON HELMS STREET!!!!
• Helms goes for the pin..1...2...3 and Helms wins. Helms gets to his feet when MVP's music hits. MVP comes out to the top of the ramp applauding Helms saying, "One down, three to go"

Goldberg Vs. The Undertaker

Quick Cut

• Goldberg comes out of his locker room and heads out to the titantron entrance as his music hits. Goldber comes through the entrance and his pyrotechinc rain mist goes off and he walks through it doing his pryrotechinc routine. He heads to the ring and enters the ring.
• Undertaker's entrance
• Goldberg and Taker go back and forth hitting solid moves on each other and firing back at the other. Taker hits a chokeslame and goes for the pin but Goldberg's puts his leg on the bottom ring rope.
• Taker then sets Goldberg up for a Tombstone Piledriver but Goldberg manages to stop Taker and SPEAR!!!!!!!
• Goldberg then gets up and stomps both feet at once on the ring mat. Goldberg then stalks Taker.
• Goldberg gets Taker up and...JACKHAMMER for the pin
• 1...2...3 and Goldberg wins. Kurt Angle's music hits and he comes out to the of the ramp in a suit with the World Heavyweight Championship raised in the air
• JR: Which man will leave The Great American Bash as World Heavyweight Champion, Smackdown's Champion.
• MF: This looks to be an intense matchup. This looks like something the fans should watch.

The lights go out in the arena and the production crew starts to take down the equipment.

• JL: Then we ave RVD making his return to the WWE tonight. Speaking of return, it's already happening, here he comes.

RVD Vs. Cody Rhodes

• RVD's music is playing and his pyrotechincs go off on the titantron. RVD comes out to the top of the ramp and stops halfway to the ring and puts his X-Division Championship over his shoulder. RVD does his Rob Van Dam taunt with his thumbs sticking out pointing to himself, He enters the ring and he raises his X-Division Championship in the air.
• Cody Rhodes music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp. Rhodes slaps hands with the crowd and then enters the ring.
• The ref signals to ring the bell and the match is underway. RVD and Cody grapple and RVD quickly hits a leg sweep. He starts to stomp on Cody's gut and then goes outside the ring apron.
• Rhodes slowly gets to his feet and RVD uses the ring ropes. RVD jumps onto them and hits the springboard diving clothesline to Rhodes.
• RVD then gets Rhodes up to his feet and Irish Whips him into a ring corner. RVD charges at connects on the monkey flip flipping Rhodes to the middle of the ring.
• RVD climbes up to the top rope and does his Rob Van Dam taunt. RVD jumps and hits the Five Star Frog Splash and goes for the pin..1...2...3
• RVD wins! The ref goes to get the TNA X Division Championship as RVD gets to his feet. The ref comes back in the ring and hands RVD his X Division Championship. RVD exits the ring and heads to the back with his hands raised in vicotory.

• MC: Looks like RVD debut match was too easy.
• JL: Talk about esy, young Cody couldn't put up a fight, he got no offense at all.

Helms: Well this Monday on RAW I face CM Punk and Brock Lesnar and I remember breaking Evolution last
Monday and I going to destroy Evolution so I'm challenging Triple H Next Week on RAW! Yeah, I going
to do that and I can because I'm Gregory Helms and last Sunday I came out with the United States
Championship. Punk lost and was and always was a loser who didn't have luck. I have a lot of luck
and with MVP I can guess that I could advance in to the game. So Brock, Punk I going to beat you
both. So Its Time And You Better Get Ready!

Chris Jericho Vs. Christian Cage

• Chris Jericho's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp. He turns around and does his pose and then heads to the ring. Jericho then enters the ring and climbs to the top rope. He sticks out his arms and does his pose followed by him beating his chest with both arms.
• Christian Cage's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ring dressed in his Christian Cage track suit. He heads to the ring and does his Cage taunt as he heads to the ring. Cage enters the ring and climbs to the top rope and opens his jacket.
• Jericho takes off his vest and Cage takes off his track suit as the ref signals to ring the bell as the match is underway
• Cage and Jericho grapple and Jericho gets Cage in a waist lock. Cage tries to break lose and he does and he counters with a wrist lock.
• He then manuevers it into an Irish Whip where he Irish Whips him into the nearby ring ropes. Jericho comes back and Cage connects on an arm drag to Jericho.
• Cage then grabs Jericho's legs and locks in the Cloverleaf. Jericho uses his hands as he tries to get over to the ring ropes but Cage breaks up the Cloverleaf.
• Cage drags Jericho to the center of the ring and goes to lock in the Cloverleaf again but Jericho uses his legs and pushes Cage away.
• Jericho quickly gets to his feet and Cage comes back. Jericho goes for the Codebreaker but Cage holds onto a ring rope nearby stoping the move from being executed.
• Cage then locks back into the Cloverleaf and Jericho struggles to get to the ring ropes. Shawn Michaels comes out of nowhere and gets on the ring apron distracting the ref. Jericho then struggles and gets a hold of Cage's right ankle
• He causes Cage to fall over but Cage won't break the hold meanwhle the ref is trying to get Michaels to leave. Jericho then rakes Cage's eye causing him to break the hold. Cage then gets to his feet and Jericho low blows him.
• Michaels gets off the ring apron and backs away from the ring. The ref turns back his attention to the match. Jericho jumps on the middle rope and hits the Lionsault.
• Jericho goes for the pin..1...2.. and Cage kicks out. Jericho slowly gets to his feet limps over to the ring ropes. Cage slowly gets to his feet and Jericho runs. He grabs Cage's head and hits a one handed bulldog.
• Jericho goes for another pin..1...2... and Cage kicks out. Both Cage and Jericho get to their feet at the same time. Cage hits a back hand chop after a backhand chop and then short arm clotheslines Jericho.
• Cage then climbs to the top rope and Michaels gets up on the ring apron which distracts Cage and the ref.
• Jericho gets to his feet and he throws Cage off the top rope to the ring mat. Jericho then stalks Cage as he slowly gets up.
• Cage gets to his feet and..CODEBREAKER!!! Jericho hits the Codebreaker and goes for the pin..1...2...3 and Jericho wins.
• Jericho gets to his feet and the ref raises his hand in victory. Jericho exits the ring and Michaels raises Jericho's hand as they head up the ramp backstage.

• A vdieo airs showing the United States Championship highlights and the Intercontinental Championship highlights.
• *Now the camera in the the men's locker room where is shows Brock Lesnar stretching.*

IC TITLE & US TITLE ON THE LINE
Brock Lesnar & CM Punk Vs. Mr. Kennedy & Gregory Helms

• Evolution's music hits and Brock Lesnar and CM Punk come out to the ring. Brock Lesnar enters the ring and Punk gets on the ring apron and climbs up to the top rope signaling that he will get his US Championship back.
• Mr. Kennedy's music hits and he comes out to the ring. He enters and he signals for the mic to come down from the ceiling. Kennedy grabs it and begins to speak.
• Kennedy: I MAY HAIL FROM GREAN-AH BAY, WISCONSIN-AH, BUT I AM THE CURRENT AND NEW! INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION-AH....MISTERRRRRRRR KENNNNEDYYYYYY......KENNNNEDYYYYY!
• Gregory Helm's music hits and he comes out to the top the the ramp showing off his new United States Championship around his waist as he heads to the ring. Helms enters the ring and he climbs to the top rope where he takes off his United States Championship and raises it in the air.
• Everybody gets to their respective corners and the ref signals to ring the bell as the match is underway. Punk and Helms start out the match.
• Punk quickly starts out on the offense as he lands kick after kick after kick to the shin of Helms. Punk then hits a quick enzuigiri and goes for the pin..1...2 and Helms kicks out. Punk tags in Lesnar and drags Helms to their corner. Helms breaks away and tries to get the tag but Lesnar gets in the ring and quickly grabs hold of him stopping him from making the tag.
• Lesnar then hits a over the head belly to back suplex and goes for the pin...1...2.. and Helms kicks out. Lesnar gets to his feet and Helms struggles to get over to Kennedy. Lesnar gets Helms in a bear hug and Helms can't get out. Lesnar backs up to his corner and Punk tags himself in to the match.
• Punk hopes over the ropes and hits a backhand chop to Helms back as Lesnar keeps the bear hug locked in.
• Lesnar then deops Helms and exits the ring. Punk stalks Helms as he slowly gets to his feet, Punk gets Helms up on his shoulders for the GTS but Helms elbows Punk in the head while on his shoulders and gets off.
• Helms hurries over to his corner and tags in Kennedy who comes in at the charging Punk. Kennedy clotheslines him and then clotheslines him again after getting to his feet.
• Kennedy then elbows Lesnar off the ring apron and turns back around to Punk who is slowly getting to his feet. Kennedy tries to connect on the Mic Check but Punk stops him by placing his leg in front of him keeping him still.
• Punk elbows Kennedy in the neck and then gets him on his shoulders. Kennedy counters with a DDT and goes for the pin..1...2.. and Punk kicks out.
• Kennedy gets Punk to his feet and Irish Whips him into a nearby ring corner. Kennedy charges and goes for a clothesline in the corner but Punk gets out of the corner at the last second and tags in Lesnar.
• Lesnar gets in the ring and gets Kennedy out of the corner, he hits a spinebuster and stalks Kennedy. Kennedy gets up and Lesnar gets him on his shoulders. F-5!!!
• Lesnar goes for the pin..1...2... and Helms breaks up the pin and starts to assault the downed Lesnar and the ref signals to ring the bell.

WINNERS: CM PUNK & BROCK LESNAR(DQ)

• Punk comes into the ring and a brawl breaks out between Kennedy & Lesnar and Helms & Punk. Helms gets Punk grounded and hits the single knee face breaker and Kennedy hits the Mic Check to Lesnar as both exit the ring raising their titles in the air
• Punk and Lesnar both are holding their faces and checking for blood as they stare at Helms and Kennedy who are both smirking

Randy Orton's Speech

• Randy Orton's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp. He stops and stares out into the crowd and then he he heads to the ring. Orton enters and he climbs to the top rope where he raises his WWE Champion in the air and then does his Orton pose.
• Orton then exits the ring and goes to get a mic. He then re enters the ring.
• Orton: People said, that I couldn't do it again. They all thought I could never beat Triple H for the WWE Championship Yet,*looks at WWE Championship*, here I m as your WWE Championship. Now that I have beaten the "game." I plan to keep what is MINE for a while. No way I'm giving this up, you'll have to pry it from my dead, cold hands. Like last year, I will leave a long list behind for those who have fell victim to the RKO after claiming they were coming to "Save Us" or that "it's time for a new champion." Need us not go over the list again ..ah, what the heck, we have time. Triple H, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels,Jeff Hardy, John Cena in my opinion which is a fact and many others. The Age of Orton was put on hold but now it is back and it's going nowhere. You fans may not like it but you will have to deal with it weather you want to or not. Triple H, yes, you have a rematch clause but would you be an idiot and use it when you darn well know that you'll end up losing again to me. The Age of Orton waits for no one and you should just let someone else have a try at losing to me because I for one think the fans have gotten tired of seeing you lose and they have lost faith..in you...
• Triple H's music hits and he comes out in his ring gear and he spits out water while he heads to the ring. He enters and Orton leaves the ring and Triple H runs over to the ring ropes where he and Orton have a stare down.
• Orton heads to the back while Triple H climbs to the top rope and does his King of Kings pose.

*Bobby Lashley finds Brock Lesnar backstage after his match.*

Bobby: You know Brock, we have a problem here. You want the Intercontinental Championship, and I want the Intercontinental Championship. Now Next Wednesday when I get my match with Mr. Kennedy, and I go on to SummerSlam and win the Intercontinental Championship, I'll make sure you get the first title match.

*Lashley exits*

Triple H Vs. Umaga

• Triple H's music is playing as he is in the ring pacing back and forth awaiting his opponent.
• Umaga's music hits and Umaga comes out to the ring. He yells something in Samoan and enters the ring as he stares at Triple H.
• The ref signals to ring the bell as the match is underway. Umaga goes right after Triple H and starts to assault him with chops and flailing of the arms.
• Triple H exits the ring to get a breather and he then looks under the ring...Triple H takes out a sledgehammer and gets in the ring but Umaga starts to kick him while he is down and then gets him to his feet.
• Umaga goes for the Samoan Spike but Triple H dodges and picks back up the sledgehammer. Triple H nails Umaga in the face with it and starts to assault Umaga with the sledgehammer until he is busted open
• The ref signals to ring the bell as Triple H is DQed

WINNER: UMAGA

• Triple H then gets handed a mic.
• Triple H: Yes, Randy, I'm using my rematch clause so at SummerSlam it will be Randy Orton Vs. "The Game" Triple H in a rematch for the WWE Championship and I'm picking the stipulation but you'll find out next week.
• Randy Orton's music hits and he comes out to the top of the ramp and applaudes Triple H slowly.
• Triple H then climbs up to the top rope and his music hits as he does his King of Kings pose with sledgehammer in hand while Orton raises his WWE Championship at the top of the ramp.
• JL: Oh boy, looks like this rivalry is just starting to heat up.
• MC: What will the stipulation be for their match
• JL: Tune into next week's Monday Night RAW to find out.

The lights go out in the arena and the production crew starts to take down the equipment.

*Edge finds the Edgeheads and Kennedy*

Edge: What did I tell you about hanging around with this loser? Huh? I told you to pick then and I'm telling you to pick now. You can pick both because there is no way I'm letting him into our stable.

*Cage appears*

Cage: So pick now because we have better things to do then hang around with Mr. Repetitive here.

*About 20 min. later*

OW! Damn them!!!! What's this? Oh now that's just plain WRONG!!!

Bobby: Forget you board game wars with Kennedy! I want to snap them all in half!!!

Hold on! I've got an idea!

*RVD and Lashley find The Edgeheads and Kennedy and ambush them with cast iron skillets until they're motoinless*

You see? Cast Iron is way better than steel!

*They then Drag their motionless bodies out iton the ring where RVD thens Handcuff the Edgeheads to the ringposts then goes and gets a table. He sets it up in the ring where Lashley puts Kennedy in through the table with the Dominator. He goes and handcuffs Kennedy to a ringposts and then puts another table up in the ring and put the Edgeheads on it. RVD then hits the 5-Star Frog Slpash, putting them through the table. RVD then handcuffs them back up to the ringposts. RVD grabs a mic.*

That was just a small sample of what we're gonna do to you Hawkins and Ryder in our Extreme rules match!! Be warned after Lashley wins the Intercontinental Championship, we're coming into the tag division, and we're gonna make sure you will never win the World Tag Team Championship!

*Hands the mic to Lashley*

*Hawkins puts Lashley on the table and Kennedy lifts RVD up onto his shoulders, climbs up a car, and does a Green Bay Plunge to RVD through the table and right onto Lashley.

Hawkins: Oh, but first, I think you'll be needing this!

* Hawkins takes the IC title from Lashley and gives it back to Kennedy. They then put both of them onto rafts and send them into the Great Salt Lake!*

* RVD and Lashley float out to the middle of the lake as all 3 of them laugh and walk away*

On RAW, the handicaped match will stay a handicaped match but on iMPACT, It will be you two verse Hawkins and Ryder after Edge and Christian get finished with them and then on the Smackdown after that, you guessed it, RVD, Lashley and a partner of my choosing square off in a....in a....Steel Cage Match with Kennedy and the Kennedy Lackies.

That ought to end this war you two have going on.
