WWE Night Of Champions PPV Discussion Thread- June 29, 2008

Kane will still dominate and pwn all, if he doesn't, I'd be surprised, so my predictions still stand. And despite the theatre not getting this, this is too big a ppv for me to miss, so I'm ordering it and watching it at home

This PPV will hopefully prove my theories right.

I just can't see the spinner belt staying where Cena isn't because they won't change it back until it isn't popular anymore.

If that happened then, OMG! I love the WHC and if it would turn spinner belt then I would laugh and then cry because off the history behind that belt.

I personally like both belts the way they are with the exception of the WWE title not "spinning". Cena should win back the WWE title and Triple H should go back to the World title.. titles they're best known for.D-Tru-King

Exactly, Triple H shouldn't be keeping the WWE spinning non spinning whatever belt, Cena should win it. The belt doesn't look good on Triple H anyway. They should stick to the belts they...in a way....created. Remember though, Triple H isn't really known for that belt, he is known for the WWE version of it.

I'm not ordering this, this is below standards for me, I only order PPVs that I think are above my standards, I have high standards for PPVs too....lolandroid1000

So, I'm guessing you only order the major 4 PPVs then, or none at all? High standards, that's funny. I feel the same about TNA PPVs as you do about WWE PPVs, I only order TNA Lockdown, cause, imho, all other TNA PPVs aren't worth ordering, i am going to watch NOC

This year I've ordered no PPVs on tv but went to one. Last year I ordered, WM 23, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and I was going to order Summerslam but I changed my mind so I guess you can say I order the top four but basically it's about the matches.

Ha, I've never ordered a TNA PPV in my life. I might order Lockdown next year or Bound for Glory this year but that's it. The others are below par.

One Night Stand impressed me more than WM this year. One Night Stand was a PPV that I thought would be below standards this year until the card was made and I thought, man, I should have ordered this PPV.

Anyways, ONS was my favorite PPV in a looong time! It was amazing!!
I hope Cena brings his title back with him so HHH can get the World title back.

Same here, that title looks much much better on him than that pathertic joke for a WWE Championship. The World Heavyweight Championship has some history and way more prestige, it's been in NWA, WCW, WWE, even though those aren't the exact same titles, they are reincarnations.

Tough call here. I don't want Edge to lose the title (or lose to Batista period), but I also think they should hold off on Cena winning until Summerslam. Of course HHH will probably win, taking the title to Smackdown where he can pretend to be as cool and anti-authority as Austin was against Vickie Guerrero while burying Edge and La Familia (and probably Umaga and various talented lower-mid carders too, he always finds a way) week after week while he's at it.

In terms of how the belts look, nothing really compares to the Big Gold Belt.

As for the HHH theory...yeah it probably won't happen I guess but I wouldn't be surprised.

here are my predictions on who i want to win:

Cena, Edge, Natalya (or other diva), Mickie, Matt, Mark Henry, Miz & Morrison, Dibiase & partner (i think thats all)

but i think that HHH will retain and Batista might win the gold (which i hope that doesnt happen)
