I did read the whole board. How bout you read the thread title. The title implies quiting HALO 3 over DLC. Instead of telling the thread creator you can still play team slayer without the mythic map pack you came in here and compared COD4 to the "kiddie" HALO3. The needler/pube comparison was axtually funny to me but come on man did you really need to come up with your long list of why Halo 3 is kiddie?

Actually you came in the thread suggesting another game when that was not the point of this thread and did bash Halo 3 by calling it a "kiddy" game.

i just suggested COD 4 because DLC is not something you need to enjoy the game/ game type you want. I poked a little jab at Halo, not meaning anything by it. i will fully admit i have had times where i loved Halo and couldn't stop playing. I have a Master Cheif helmet above my T.V. LOL. I was just trying to poin out that not all XBL compatiable games require DLC to enjoy, so he dosen't have to leave XBL totally. Thats one reason why i can't play that much halo, i don't feel like buying DLC. Sorry Blas1an i have just been taking heat from every side, and from people who don't make any points.

Halo is ridiculously overated and bores me in about a match or 2, also more then half the playlists require a map pack.

I don't know what people find in the game that makes it so popular but i have had way better online experiences with the many other online games out there on xbox 360.Some people are too fanatical its the only thing they play, i say they should migrate try other games out and oh yeah more then half the community i meet on halo are ridiculously overspoiled aggressive kids or people that think there tough or something because they can abuse people over a mic.

I admit I'm a Halo fanboy and I'm in no way saying you can criticize it but there is a better way and a place to do it. check out the guy under your last post. Us Halo fans have to deal with crappy posts like that about halo all the time and it gets annoying. at least you didnt use the overused "overated" word. I admit I waited a year for the halo legendary DLC to be free to boycott Microsofts greedy plans but it never happened. Instead they lowered the DLC to $5. I finally gave in.

Umm ya there is blood when you stab someone. and when you slash them, where ever you manage to slash them on their body. not head shot amount of bloos but there still is some. Which is more then when you give someone the peoples elbow in Halo.

Your saying Halo is kiddy because flowers, grass and snow exist in the game and I'm questioning how on earth things that actually exist being present in a game makes it kiddy.

I played Halo 3 for a little while so I am not knockin onHalo. What I don't like was how bunji just gave everyone the same game as the last two with a fresh coat of paint and some new guns. I am not saying that it's a bad thing. I am just saying that fans kind of got shafted when they could have gotten NEW content. New maps and New guns to me don't really qualify as content. But then again, maybe I just expected things out of Halo that would have made it NOT Halo. At least they made a game that millions had fun with. As for the dude that just can't take the constant downloads, I hear you. You already spent 60 bucks, why should you have to spend more to play the same game?

sure, cod4 is less kiddy than halo, but halo 3 is way less kiddy than cod 4. Also if you actually played above the 10 skill range (aka the young child/noob skill range) you might not here that many kids.

again, you make yourself look dumb, you have no arguement yet you continue posting, i can pick on little game details too. In cod4 i can crouch behind barrels and see everything in front of me, while anyone else in front of me will only see my helmet, very realistic and fair.

halo 3. but to be fair theres nothing mature about either halo 3 or call of duty 4. when you shoot people they bleed, people swear in both games. the only difference is gameplay, while one is good one is decent.

6) Whe ni say everything is dirty and gritty i mean exactly what i said. The environments are in COD 4, i didn't say COD 4 grass is more gritty. And the flowers, grass, fluffy snow and the big purple buildings in the fluffy snow and most of the maps in Halo look cartoonish.

Now don't get me wrong, I loved Call of Duty 4 too, it's addicting, the challenges are fun and the perks are a great addition to the competitiveness of the multiplayer, and if you ask me having "perks" in Halo 3 would be a welcomed addition (at least in my opinion), along with the awesome idea of the "KillCam." I was just annoyed with your blatant hatred towards Halo 3 without anything logical to back it up besides opinions. You don't have to like all the pros I listed of Halo, but don't act like they are horrible and everyone else has the same opinion because tons of people LOVE Halo 3 and all its extra bonuses, truly a game you get your moneys worth.

This was one of the best posts on this thread. As for Kratos, just leave it alone man, your obviously outnumered. I mean why can't both games be good, jeez, am I wrong for owning both and when I get tired of one I just play the other? I used to pick sides but in reality were all playing on 360. Save your energy for people who think Killzone is better then Halo and COD 4 combined.

Regardless there is blood. I don't care how much there is. It's there. Who cares how you melee in either game? How is the over all aesthetic of Halo cartoonish? You haven't debunked anything, really. I never claimed not be a Dragon Ball fan. Pointing it out to me doesnt really hurt my argument at all. I'm not the one bashing Halo for having things that are in Dragon Ball.

I still say that appearance wise it's still pretty debatable. Regardless it has no relevance to the topic or the quality of either game. And I never tried to insult him, I was pointing how ass backwards his argument is, calling Halo kiddy. And I never said I was above liking DBZ, Banjo or Sonic, did I? I never said either game was not mature enough either, so I don't see how liking any of those games effect my argument.

you say your new but you must not have any idea that every time the word halo is brought up in any manner someone calls it overrated, rehashed, boring and then compare it to other games. what does 3kratos3 "kiddie" list with blood, flowers and pubes have to do with DLC for HALO3?
