Yeah, this year is too much. For the rest of this month I have to buy Far Cry 2, Fable 2, LittleBigPlanet, and Fallout 3. So that's like 9 games in October that I have/will buy. Ridonculous! Then I have to get Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Mirror's Edge in November. Ridonculous!

I know, it's such an amazing game!
I'm usually not a wimp at all when it comes to horror anything (games, movies, books...whatever), but I have found myself screaming during several points in the game.
It's so good.
the only thing that has disapionted me so far, and it's my fault, is the damned Elite Suit.I wish to god that I hadn't bought it. all well, game is still friggin incredible. all see rigs 2-4 on the next playthrough, or i'll go crazy and restart, although I just hit level 5.TIE_Elite_Pilotwhats wrong with the elite suit ?
so you don't recommend the suit. DS doesn't get released here in AUS until next week. i was planning on starting the game on hard with the elite suit mainly for the bigger inventory. do you miss out on upgrades because its been modified from the get go. Well, def DL the suit, it's free no reason not to. level 2-4, I say armor, shouldv'e said Space Suit / RIG (RIG is the in game term). The Elite suit is a level 5 RIG, so if you get it on level 1, you go from a level 1 RIG to a level 5 RIG, which means that I don't get tp see the other level Rigs, which for me is a bummer. The Elite suit, as I said, looks pretty sweet, it doesn't really offer much more protection, but it does have a much larger inventory than the level 1 RIG, which could take away from the challenge somewhat. I'll say this, the game is still difficult, and it still inspires a fear sweat.
Man Im stuck on chapter 4 shooting the asteroids, god I hate that level. Is it me or is the aiming really incredibly wierd. IshmaelSonata
Lol i know how you feel man , i died three times at that place...but then i think i know the way to finish this ...just aim at the big rocks and the fast coming ones. [ Hope that helps. ]

Nah , i have a friend who is jack sparrow:P so yeah...he stayed for the night and well im just playing the games and see how they appeal to me because if they were really good i'll buy them. [ fable 2 and far cry 2 are fantastic...although far cry 2 went to the realistic side and well...fable 2 is just a beautiful and great game.]

Far Cry 2

Once you hit the start game button your gonna get to choose between 5 or 6 different characters which all have the same story i think but minor changes , the game starts off really beautiful as you sit at the back of a jeep and a guy escorting you to some place as you sit and see the really beautiful and realistic scenery , mountains , trees , animals.etc really really beautiful.
Your are caught between two rival factions in war-torn africa , you are sent to take out " The Jackal " , a mysterious character who has rekinded the conflict between the warlords , jeopardizing thousands of lives.In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the factions against each other , identify and exploit their weaknesses , and neutralise their superior numbers and firepower with suprise , subversion , cunning and , of course , brute force.
There are many weapons and of course you could take from your enemies....although the realistic side is that the weapons wore off or jam so you got to visit the gunshop to fix or buy new weapons. There are also these briefcases you collect which has a diamond in it to also gain you more money , the game world is huge although fallout 3 is bigger of course....but its pretty big for an FPS and its free-roam.:D from what i have played i'll give it an 8.5. havn't tried the multiplayer yet...but it seems great because of the map editor , will try it and give answers about to those you want answers.:) The graphics and action are the best i'll give it a 10 for that...but the story is ok from what i have seen so far , also what i love about it is when you want to see the map you could take it out and walk while seeing where you want to go next also when you want to reach out for ammo or open the door or take a weapon he uses his hand and not just pushing A and then magically its in your pockets.:P

Fallout 3
Sadly this game is not my cup of tea and i'll tell you why , this game is HUGE and i mean huge .... i can't belive how they made it so big without any lose of framrates every 10 seconds , the graphics are better then oblivion and its just like oblivion in every way except this has a really good and imo better story , weapons , perks.etc also the " kill cam" never gets old , belive me.
the start of the game is fantstic and very well done ... i don't want to spoil how but if you wanted just message me.:) also once you get out from where your hiding .. in the vault , you won't belive how beautiful fall out 3 world is ...just looking at the scenery and how everything is destroyed looks wonderful.:P its just like when you got out of the sewers/prision in oblivion.
i'll give this a 9/10 from how big this game is and there is LOOOOOOOOOOAADS and i mean s***loads of stuff to you , you won't have the time believe me ...especially with all the games coming out right now.

Before you start the game you get to choose if your a male of course or female...once you start there is this CGI sequence which was played at E3 this year , after that bird crped on the kid's head...that's you.:PAnyway, that's the s t y l e of the game.you're nobody , you're nothing, you are really poor and kinda live in a dump place , everybody you know just disregards you. your destiny is to be a truly great hero.
The story has this baddy who's name is lucien , he is the most creul baddy you've ever seen , not evil , cruel. he is detined to buld this tower called the spire , that tower will end up five miles high. what you do with that tower is very much dependent on how you play the game.
This game is much more advanced than the first fable and the dog is just awesome! ...i'll give this a 9.8/10 great game , can't wait to buy it.

im on chapter 4 and currently using a level 2 suit. I didnt want the free level 5 suit. I wanted to play the game the way it was meant to be played. difficult setting is on medium. its been difficult in some areas but very fun. the game feels really polished. like they took the finished game and went ok how do we make it better. I give it a 9.5
I'm at the boss on chapter 6. He's driving me nuts. How do I defeat him after I destory those tentacles? Do I shoot the inside of his mouth? I've tried that before..sammyjenkis898

I think you're on a different boss than me. I haven't made it to the Ch. 6 boss yet, I'm talking about that invincible monster in Ch. 5.My review of fable 2 , far cry 2 and fallout 3.Thank you for that insight. I was already looking forward to purchasing Far Cry 2 and Fable 2 and you have just enured their buy. As for Fallout 3 I am somewhat undecided as I've been hearing plenty of mixed comments on it. Nonetheless you are one lucky bastard.

I think you're on a different boss than me. I haven't made it to the Ch. 6 boss yet, I'm talking about that invincible monster in Ch. 5.Just keep running from it till you get to that place where you can't progress anymore and you have to fight him , see that room in the middle that looks like a cold storage room? wait for it in there to come....once it comes to you , shoot the hell out of it till you see him regenerating , then quickly run to a room which is near you ... go inside and activate this thing near the mirror , after that he is history.

Are the tenticles supposed to come out again after you shoot his mouth? Are you supposed to shoot it once when it's open?

Are the tenticles supposed to come out again after you shoot his mouth? Are you supposed to shoot it once when it's open?
Well when you first battle him you have to take out the tenticles then after that he will turn red , from what i remember:P and take out another set of tenticles and do as what you did again...shoot the tenticles , after that just keep shooting his mouth with everything till he dies.

Your are caught between two rival factions in war-torn africa , you are sent to take out " The Jackal " , a mysterious character who has rekinded the conflict between the warlords , jeopardizing thousands of lives.In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the factions against each other , identify and exploit their weaknesses , and neutralise their superior numbers and firepower with suprise , subversion , cunning and , of course , brute force.
There are many weapons and of course you could take from your enemies....although the realistic side is that the weapons wore off or jam so you got to visit the gunshop to fix or buy new weapons. There are also these briefcases you collect which has a diamond in it to also gain you more money , the game world is huge although fallout 3 is bigger of course....but its pretty big for an FPS and its free-roam.:D from what i have played i'll give it an 8.5. havn't tried the multiplayer yet...but it seems great because of the map editor , will try it and give answers about to those you want answers.:) The graphics and action are the best i'll give it a 10 for that...but the story is ok from what i have seen so far , also what i love about it is when you want to see the map you could take it out and walk while seeing where you want to go next also when you want to reach out for ammo or open the door or take a weapon he uses his hand and not just pushing A and then magically its in your pockets.:P

Fallout 3
Sadly this game is not my cup of tea and i'll tell you why , this game is HUGE and i mean huge .... i can't belive how they made it so big without any lose of framrates every 10 seconds , the graphics are better then oblivion and its just like oblivion in every way except this has a really good and imo better story , weapons , perks.etc also the " kill cam" never gets old , belive me.
the start of the game is fantstic and very well done ... i don't want to spoil how but if you wanted just message me.:) also once you get out from where your hiding .. in the vault , you won't belive how beautiful fall out 3 world is ...just looking at the scenery and how everything is destroyed looks wonderful.:P its just like when you got out of the sewers/prision in oblivion.
i'll give this a 9/10 from how big this game is and there is LOOOOOOOOOOAADS and i mean s***loads of stuff to you , you won't have the time believe me ...especially with all the games coming out right now.

Fable 2
Before you start the game you get to choose if your a male of course or female...once you start there is this CGI sequence which was played at E3 this year , after that bird crped on the kid's head...that's you.:PAnyway, that's the s t y l e of the game.you're nobody , you're nothing, you are really poor and kinda live in a dump place , everybody you know just disregards you. your destiny is to be a truly great hero.
The story has this baddy who's name is lucien , he is the most creul baddy you've ever seen , not evil , cruel. he is detined to buld this tower called the spire , that tower will end up five miles high. what you do with that tower is very much dependent on how you play the game.
This game is much more advanced than the first fable and the dog is just awesome! ...i'll give this a 9.8/10 great game , can't wait to buy it.
I am looking forward to buy Far Cry 2 and Fable 2.:)

:lol: , your welcome anytime dude , well i didn't like fallout 3 because its so big and has too many stuff to do that...if i sat and played i won't be able to play the other games ...they made a mistake by releasing every game this year and especially this month.Seriously man, I've been saying '08s the crazier year than '07 since March and people are just now starting to realize it. I understand what you mean though with Fallout 3, too many games each with too much depth to focus on; one's bound to get purchased and forgotten.

I keep running out of ammo..
There is no ammo floating around..at all..
It took me a long time to kill him and btw he is the only boss that takes this much long.
I just beat him.

I loaded the game and started to fight him again and noticed that there were a ton of clips floating around.
