Do you think any 360 Exclusives this year will earn a 10? which one?

Well, GTA got a ten and is on both consoles, but MGS got a 10 and is a ps3 exclusive, do you think any 360 games will get a ten?

I personally dont, i think they will be like 9s and 9.5s

GeoW will not get a 10, as good as the game is it will recieve High 9's but not a 10. The graphics may be fantastic, the gameplay stellar, but, imo, two things will keep it from being a 10. 1.) The story has a lot of potential and a great base - the first game story was not fully fleshed out, and other than feeling like a complete bad ass you do not really connect with Marcus Fenix. Who was his father? Why did he have the data? Explain why Marcus went to prison? 2.) Replayability or variety. The game has to make you want to replay it over, or at the minimum give you something to do outside or along with the main story so that it is not simply beat the game and go straight to multiplayer.

If there is going to too be a ton of arguing with what I just said, please be reasonable.

Only hopeful one would be Fable 2. The game is upgrading from the first one by leaps and bounds. GOW will get high 9's but its not upgrading as much as Fable 2

While some games will deserve a 10, GS will not give it to them because they squandered high scores on both GTAIV and MGS4. While both amazing games neither were 10 quality, especially MGS4 which I was very disappointed with.-Sphere-

We don not know yet that Gears of War 2 will be a 10 or not because judging from what we've seen and heard. It's not much, so only time will tell.

only 7 games have been awarded 10's since gamespot was founded, MGS4(PS3), GTAIV(PS3), GTAIV(Xbox360), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater3 (PS2), Chrono Cross (PS), Soul Caliber(DC), and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)

and 3 of them have been awarded this year, IMO there won't be any more

as for 360 10's the only one i can see maybe is fable 2 since it is upgrading so much. if the upgrades go well, so will the score. hopefully what is implemented wont be bad to drag the score down

having played MGS IV and not really thinking it was going to be this good, I can back up those words. epic is definitely the word I would use. Sure not everyone will like it and this guy might be telling the truth. But the graphics, sounds, music, voiceovers, everything just comes together soo well. I have to say that I am impressed. if not 10 then 9.8 definitely but since gs can't do that anymore, up it goes.

as for on topic, I don't know if MS will have any 10 games this year. I doubt gears will, 9-9.5 is where I see it at.

If there's any games that will maybe be 10 material, they're Gears of War 2 and Fable 2.

However, judging by the score they gave Ninja Gaiden II, I think that Gears 2 will get 9 maybe 9.5. Ninja Gaiden II is a great game but since it isn't that different from the original, they gave it an 8. I think that GoW 2 will be better than the first(if that is possible) but not good enough for gamespot.

As for Fable 2: Peter Molyneaux hyped it like it would be the next best thing since sliced bread and look where that got Fable. Good, but not as impressive as we hoped for. So now, I don't know whether or not to believe in him when he talks about all the amazing new features in Fable 2.

As for MGS4: I haven't played it yet so I shouldn't say this but I'm not very impressed. Some of the pics from the textures look terrible. As for the gameplay, it looks really dull. However, I never was a fan of the series or the story.

Honestly defending games like there your children is sad. Get a life. Personally i dont like mgs4. Its not because i spend more time on 360 then myb ps3 its that i didnt like the game.

If gears two adds enough new features and implements them well enough it should get a GOOD score. Like they might add too much and have the game feeling like its pushing all these features at you eg. Chainsaw duels new executions etc. Gears 1 did it well so if 2 can continue it will be great.

And going back to what you first said, all the movies are in-engine, not pre-rendered, and to be honest there's 4 or 5 moments throughout where it betters even the Final Fantasy movie from a few years back.

Why, becuase you weren't? Metal Gear is a fun game, just to slow paced for me. I bet if I played the new one I would have a similar opinion about it.

I don't really care. I look at the average scores on Metacritic for the most part and read as many reviews as possible. GS gave MGS4 a 10, but just as many sites gave it an 8 as well. MGS is totally a love-hate game and I personally don't like it much.

If I were to place a wager on an Xbox 360 exclusive getting a 10, I'd say it'd be Gears of War 2. Banjo Kazooie is a dark horse here, but if it's as creative as Mario Galaxy it may stand a chance as well. If Fable 2 lives up to the promises of the original it may stand a chance as well. I really don't care what they score though since I'll be playing them anyway.
