Assassin's Creed. It was the first game I played on the 360, and I was spellbound by the grahpics. Such a step up from the previous generation.
I was predominately a PC gamer before the 360. I had a PS2 and original Xbox but they were technicallyso far behind PC at the time. Gears of War was reallythe first game on a console that had actually "wowed" me graphically and was one of the reasons I bought my first360 in 2006.
Kameo without a doubt. demon565
Definitely. The best of the launch titles and the one that I think really gave the best example of 'next-gen' graphics. The artstyle was brilliant, but the graphic quality still stands up today. Animation is great, too. Still impresses me.
Also a very overlooked, quality game in general.
Kameo, PDZ or Oblivion, can't remember which. Heck, maybe CoD 2.Badosh
(C'mon... troll it! xD)
Completely agree with you. I'll never forget it/Assassin's Creed. It was the first game I played on the 360, and I was spellbound by the grahpics. Such a step up from the previous generation.

The 1st Fight Night for it, I think. Gears of War was the biggest "Wow" game for me though. I remember seeing the artwork beforehand and then seeing actual screenshots and not being able to tell which was which.
Absolutely! I finished this game about a week ago, and it's without a doubt one of the most beautiful games i have seen. Maybe not hugely impressive from a technical standpoint, but the art style and amount of detail is stunning.Eternal Sonata, lol, its one of the prettiest games ever!

When I first got my 360 it came bundled with 5 games (Forza 3, Bioshock, Halo Wars, Halo ODST, Banjo Kazooie)
Out of them Bioshock absolutely blew me away with how good it looked, I literally played for a hour in the first little area just looking at the detail put into the graphics. Then Red Dead came along and I couldn't believe how stunning that game was, even after playing GTA IV previously. I expect LA Noire to do the same to me with the motion technology in a month then of course... Battlefield 3. My jaw only just got off the floor after watching those trailers a couple of weeks ago.
I thought GTA IVlooked amazing the first time I saw it. Now when I play it, it's hard for me to believe it's even from this console gen.
I would definitely have to say it was Gears of War. Gears of War raised the bar very high for the industry. It was a showcase for the power of the 360 and the Unreal 3 engine. It won nearly every major award in 2006 but most important was a standout for its graphics. Crazier still is how Epic has once again squeezed every ounce of graphic power outta the ageing 360 for Gears of War 3. I think it will certainly be a runner up in the best graphics of the year category alongside Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim, Forza 4, and Mass Effect 3.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider is one. It was the graphics in this game that made me want to get a 360 in the first place. Hitman Bloodmoney is another. The Murder of Crows assignment had you walking through crowded streets. That was the first time I ever saw something like that in a video game. It was almost real the way it looked.
[QUOTE="Djmaster214"][QUOTE="KBFloYd"]I dont get why people say fallout 3 looks good it looks bad, and yea i realize the enviroment is supposed to look dead..nvm thats not the topic sorry. Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six really blew me away with how realistic they were and then came along assasins creed...im surprised graphics were able to imrpove off that! also worthy mention the new Medal of honor looks super good, i was surprised how much i was reminded of Afghanistan from the land to the weapon details THANK YOU, it's hard to find people agree about fallout. First look it was ok, About 5hrs in the game all it's ugliness of brown kills it. I stoped playing about 15hrs i couldn't stand it.... Fallout 3 is a pretty ugly game I also don't know why people say it looks great. Due to the artstyle and gameplay I would much rather look at Fallout 1 or 2. Oblivion didn't have much variety in it's landscapes, it might be more pleasing to look at but I can't say that makes it better since that wouldn't make sense in Fallout, I don't think it looks good going back to it but for it's time it was much better than Fallout 3.bioshock and fallout 3.

Prey i guess. One of the first 360 games i played and the graphics were pretty amazing. Then along came Halo 3 and Gears 2.
Ilovegames1992
That & Condemned
The bad news is Tommy isn't in Prey 2 instead you get to play an air marshal (he was on a plane that gets taken aboard the sphere) who takes up bounty hunting after being left on an alien world.
First game that wowed me would be the first games I played on the system: Perfect Dark Zero and Call of Duty 2. Going back to them now its amazing that they once wowed me, the discrepancy between their visuals and the games releasing today is almost that of an entirely different gen.
As for games that wow me now. Well, I guess nothing truly wows me anymore on the 360, I think I've become spoiled. Crysis 2 is a damned-good looking game though. Best on the 360. Also, Halo: Reach looked amazing to me for some reason.
