i see alot of ppl not liking guitar hero, and rock band.. you are of course entitled to your oppinion, but i (as a real guitarist, blues, metal etc) love these games, and i like to witness first hand the mechanics in them, i fully live and breathe the song i play on guitar hero or rock band (someone said ppl looked like zombies?) of course i would rather play my real guitar infront of a crowd, but as far as relaxation and party games go, they both rule imo.
It's not a 360 game but Goldeneye/Perfect Dark. Controls are so shoddy, even when they came out, I can't hit the broad side of a barn.
Halo = 'Nuff said
Gears of War = An alright game to play but it's so damn redundant. Run, Cover, Shoot, Repeat
CoD4 + WaW = I don't get how so many people think these games are so great
Dead Rising = The worst game I have played this generation.
Guitar Hero = Was fun up till 3. Series went downhill right after Neversoft/Activision took over.
Bioshock. I don't get what the big deal is. System shock 1 & 2 were way better. The only part I liked was the dentist level with the crazy nurse, the rest was boring. I finished it, but only because I forced myself to do so.
I hear you I was totally dissapointed in the game. Could not get into it at all.fallout 3
one of the most boring and bland games ive ever played...and ive been gaming for 20+ years. definitely the biggest disappointment for me this gen.

Guitar Hero/Rockband games.
Being a real guitarist I don't find these music games particularly fun as they require little skill and the idea of pushing buttons in time to music just isn't fun. Give me real instruments any day.
Star Wars The force unleashed. Catherine loved the game, I thought it was O.K but Catherine really liked it. The force unleahed is a good concept and is rated well by the reviewers. But I just wasn't enjoying this one so much. The apprentice sotyline was good, Catherine loved it and the gameplay. I just wasn't felling the magic on this game. Lots of people like this game. I did not.
That's what I thought. I couldn't stand KOTOR either but when I played Mass Effect it was a great experience. Mass Effect is like a shooter perfectly fused with RPG elements. I played it THREE TIMES through it was so good. Don't judge Mass Effect by your experience with KOTOR--they are 2 very different games. The only problems with Mass Effect are framerate issues when lots of enemies get on the screen. As far as RPG side goes, ME won't bore you, and if it does you can just ignore the story and blast your way through.Knights of the Old Republic. I... really don't like it. That's why I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like Mass Effect either.

Im not a fan of Battlefield: Bad CompanyDaveyBoy123I didn't like it either when I downloaded the demo, but when I actually bought the game used for $18 and started playing the campaign, I realized how much it rocked. It reminded me of the old PC game Delta Force that I played eons ago, except with vehicles and completely destructible environment. When you get used to the grainy graphics and adjust the sensitivity of the controller, you will see how great this game is. I just finished it last night on my second playthrough on Hard difficulty. At first I thought the story was ridiculous, but then I soon realized that it was hilarious! Give it a second chance!
I don't like Halo 3, or the Halo series for that matter I honeslty don't see the appeal in it all you do is shoot bad guys watch cutscene that makes no sense, story wise, then do a vehicle segment while shooting more enemies and your done and multiplayer isn't much different.
Has to be Halo for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved the first game. It had incredible graphics for the time and the combat felt tight.
But where did the series go from there? Other FPS games came along that advanced the genre while Halo just stayed the same. What's their big selling point for ODST? "You can now use a pistol that can zoom". Wow! They brought back a pistol from the first Halo and we're supposed to be excited about this?
Master Chief is also the worst name from a protagonist in any game I've played.
