I personally think this will be better then HAlo 3 and UT3..neiother of those games bring anything new to the genre..where as bioshock is completely re-doing it almost...Halo 3 and UT 3 will be fantastic I'm sure..but new gameplay wise..not nearly as much of an "in your face" experince like bioshock
I never really looked at Bioshock tell u posted this thread... now I really agree with you... If everything comes out good it might be as good as Gears... if not better.
Yeah it looks like it's going to be a great game. I don't think it's going to be the first person shooter of the year though. That will more than likely go to Halo 3. The reason people are not gushing over it is due to it coming out the same year as other big games like Mass Effect and Halo 3. It's probably still going to be a great game though.
to tell the truth i want bioshock more than any game this year, yes even halo 3, the new trailer was aweome, i love how strategizing it can get, like when he put the teddy bear on fire, and caught those grenades in mid air, its fast paced and requires quick thinking, the ending was awesome too i love the AI how the girl cowerd when you walk toward her, it looked very cinematic
Dude are you crazy im exitced about it so badly. I dont care if there is no life, i mean, i dont even have Xbox live right now. Bioshock looks amazing and it looks so fun, i cant wait till its out!

its not a fps... really you're encouraged to save your ammo (which is scarce) for last resorts. I hope you know more about the game other than the fact that it's in first person and uses guns sometimes.

Was there an Oblivion demo? Don't plan on one for Bioshock. Oblivion was an RPG. Isnt Bioshock the FPS? or is that Mass Effect. All these games commin out are confusing me..
I havent been this stoked about a game since...hmm...Halflife 2..or maybe Gears of War. Its one of those games that I will reserve and pick up on launch day no matter what. Its a game that I will play hookie from work to play.

It's my number one game.
They found a store preordering it for $40, Mass Effect and Halo 3 too, on cheapassgamer. I just can't decide whether to trust the guy - Bioshock I trust.
For me, UT3 is the most hyped, then Halo 3, then Mass Effect, then Bioshock. I just really haven't seen a lot of Bioshock to be all that excited about it.
I've been very interested in this game since X06 and this latest trailer has really got me excited for this game. Im actually glad there will be no multiplayer, the developers are doing the same thing Bethesda did with Oblivion; create the best single player experience possible. Bioshock isn't my most anticipated game but its defiantly up there.

Mass Effect is revolutionary. Bioshock looks pretty "Meh." I think the forums are being infested by 2k reps =P
