I know who is going to play Masterchief in the upcoming Halo movie

according to the askmen.com site Brad Pitt is going to play Masterchief in the upcoming Halo movie.
That is because Peter Jackson thinks Brad Pitt is sooo cute.

You obviously know almost nothing about the Halo series. Plus, this isn't some low budget movie being directed by Uwe Boll were talking about here, this is a $100 milllion dollar plus budget being backed by 20th Century Fox and being produced by Peter Jackson. And this Brad Pitt crap is false, the movie just got picked up, they aren't even in the casting stage yet. Besides, theres only one person who could play the Chief and thats the voice actor who plays him in the games. The movie doesn't need some superstar actor to play the Cheif, they would ask for too much money and you wouldn't even see his face so why even bother?

Doesn't matter, hardly any movies (if any) translate well from games. Doom wasn't directed by Uwe Boll, it was a high budget movie and was an okayish movie, nothing that great. The simpsons movie was high budget and I can tell you it was quite poor if you are a fan of all the good episdoes of simplson, that is, all the ones up to about season 12. Street fighter, good budget for the time, pretty good cast, still didn't work.

I personally think the movie should just be CGI and then they use the voice of the actual master chief (which they will do anyway... like they had Vaders voice being a complete other person), but if the helmet does come off then they could make the face be the actual face of John and not some big name actor.

Truthfully i would rather see the person who actually does master chief's voice be master chief in the movie to give him more credit for making the character sound awesome. I think it would suck to be the person behind the voice and then some other actor come in and be like i am master chief..........

Oh and CGI would work be Final Fantasy Advent Children pretty much kicked a**.

dude, i totally agree with you!! the halo movie should be just CG. I really don't think it would be that good, but after all video games that turn into movies arent good anyways, like Doom. Now what the heck was that movie about it didn't even follow the game format...grrr...directors should just leave games as games, not change them into a movie!!
