Wow man, no offence but that's got to be the most ignorant statement in the world of gaming. There's so many games that came out and are going to coming out this year. If you didnt know by now, you're basically mad. Mad I tell you. I suggest looking around and doing some research. You'll find that there are a ton of games coming out from now until the end of December.

This plus Lost odyssey came out this year that's all that i need.
2008 is great....not sure what the problem here is. June alone was great, and I won't even bother trying to list games coming out this fall or i'd be typing for a very long time.
GTA 4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 were solid additions to my 360 library so far this year. And, in my opinion, the best is yet to come. I plan on getting Fable 2, Saints Row 2, and Gears of War 2 before the year ends. They look to be very fun games (and the multiplayer or co-op aspects don't hurt either).

its just you this year has alot of good games coming out and alot that show potential not that its gonna be the best year in gaming ever but its gonna be decent
some really good games have already come out this year, GTA 4,RSV2,Ninja Gaiden 2,Battlefield:Bad Company,Condemned 2:Bloodshot, and there is going to be Gears of War 2, Fallout 3,Rockband 2,Guitar Hero:World Tour, and Fable 2 this fall, and that's without naming Smash Bros. Brawl,and MGS4, so either you have really high standards or you just don't like good videogames
actually i think 2008 wasnt that bad for games, it had deccent games in 2008 like gta4 , ninja gaiden and soon enough gears of war 2, i think that was a pretty reasonable line up of good games, we should be really worried about 2009 , microsoft has to keep the hits coming. hopefully next year we will see the halo RPG , mass effect 2 and another crackdown , lol the ratings were average but i think it was a good game, lots of action.
you know 2008 isn't a bad gaming year, its really a good one but i must say its been a slow year for gaming i cant say that its kept me busy all the way till the gaming holidays cause i'm bored out of my mind waiting for gears2, fable2, fallout 3, madden 09, starwars the force, too human, and so on. Most of the games i wanted this year wont start coming out until August.

Wouldn't say that it was horrible. Just no Halo this year...Gears 2, COD5, Force Unleashed, GTA, Madden, NCAA football, Ninja Gaiden, Soul Caliber, Civ Rev, Brother's in Arms, Too Human, Saint's Row 2, End War. I think it would be safe to say that '08 has an impressive line-up
Though youve been totally proved wrong in this topic I almost agree with you. At least compared to last year this year seems boring. Theres nothing to be excited about. GTA 4 is one of the best games ever made, imo. Gears 2 will be really good. But really thats about as deep as truly GREAT games go. There were some good ones like Vegas 2. But why the hell are people saying ninja gaiden...wasnt that a flop?
I completely agree. The last three years have been horrible for games, I've never been so bored in my life, I think I'm completely off games for a while. Now if you'll excuse me, I must put on this fire-resistant hazardous suit, for I am about to be royally flamed from a hundred different angles.
