Anyone who does not take things that are not theirs, that's who
Your gamertag was compromised, maybe it wasn't your fault but considering the way you've explained everything to this point I'm pretty sure you're at fault there too but let's just give you the benefit of the doubt and say in that part of your story you are the victim.
When you got it back you had a gamerscore that was not what you deserved. Did you do anything about it? No, nothing at all. You were perfectly happy to sit back and enjoy having a gamerscore that high even though you did not deserve it.
You had no problem at all taking what was not yours
Your motto was "hey, not my problem" Well guess what? Say goodbye to the reputation and the gamerscore because you refused to do the responsible thing and they acted on your account.
Also the idea that "it's not your job" to watch over what happens to your account is bull. The only reason you didn't do anything about it is because you benefited from it. If it was something negative like a loss of points or charges to your card you'd be on here making threads saying "SCREW YOU MICROSOFT, YOU STOLE FROM ME"
You took what was not yours, you are cheater, you were dealt with
bad times that wont get any better by moaning. your just going to have to forget about your currently account and create a new one. At least the cheater thing wont be there :)so my gamertag was hacked like 2 months ago and i have no idea how. I called microsoft over and over again to get it recovered and they eventually did. When i recovered it for the first time on my xbox, i realized my gamerscore went from 13,000 to 70,000+ . I did not do this, the hacker obviously did. Now, a month since Ive had it recovered, i just saw my gamerscore reset to Zero. Now, i understand if they put it back down to 13,000, but to zero!?!?! I mean, do they not know they are the ones who recovered it!?!?! WTF? Also, now im labeled as a "cheater" on my gamertag, and can't get the achievments on my previous games back. F u microsoft, f u. I worked so hard to get those 13,000 on the effin dot.

sorry dude.. if tht happened to me i would real mad... i hate when people hack my games Ex: I was playing Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Pluson the PSPone day and this hacker showed up in my online match and he froze everyones accounts so tht the PSP shut off and then my save got corrupted
[QUOTE="Fallout3fan0330"] yes, blame myself for my email getting hacked. Seriously, **** happens, and i shouldn't be monitoring **** over the damn internet like a rotweiler. [QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]
[QUOTE="RobboElRobbo"]Microsoft honestly don't care about you, or anyone. You have a small chance this will get resolved. I hope you do though, because it's completely pathetic what they didMaddenBowler10
Wha?
He was the one who did something wrong, did you not read all of it?
quit posting in this thread, because i didn't do anything wrong. someone please tell me one person who in their right minds would call microsoft to report achievement boosting of their gamerscore. If you were me, you would have standed pat, because there was nothing you can do about it. anyway, im done with this thread as a whole, anyone who has the balls to tell me i did something wrong will have a lot of karma headed their way, and i really hope so.It's called being responsible and smart. Every site that requires your password for something important reccommends you change your password every 1-2 months. Stop acting so innocent and man up. We are tired of your story and aren't going to feel sorry for you or take pity. Find someone else to stroke your wounded ego.
You even had the odacity to brag about getting 1000/1000 on several games. You took responsibility for something a cheater did, making yourself no better than a cheater. You wanted to take ownership of the gamerscore that a cheater obtained and now your the one taking responsibility. It's called being an adult. If you lost your wallet, the police returned it to you and you found a credit card that wasn't yours along with loads of extra cash, then proceeded to brag about all your dough--or whatever. When you getcaught, you are the one that is busted, not the person who putthere.Duh!
You are starting to sound like an underdeveloped tool and it has gotten old. In no way is this anyone elses fault but your own. Get over it.
As far as your Live account getting hacked, I've already stated this isn't possible. Someone got ahold of your info and it was obtained via YOU--intentional or not. You can continue to claim, that can't happen, that can't happen, all you'd like. But at the end of the day, the alternate isn't possible and your just another liar with an invisible chip on his shoulder.

I like this guy
I think he's more angry about the cheater label on his profile. That really does suck.Oh no! Now everybody in video game land will think you're a loser cuz you dont have a high gamerscore!
seankane
I see why you're are angry, but you can't really expect Microsoft to know how your gamescore jumped I mean they have millions of users and can't be expected to immediately figure out what went down. But the cheater label made me mad. Since you have 0, start a new account and get back your achievements

i guarantee you 99% of people here wouldn't do anything about it just as i did. Microsoft has records of my account and it's history(that's what they told me) and shoulda known about what it was before hand. Also, i didn't "take" anything, it came to me, i didn't ask for it, so again, i did nothing wrong. I also love how joke man is claiming ive "bragged" about my 1000/1000 gamerscore. 1. HES WRONG, not one game on my game list had full achievements. 2. He's pulling his comments out of his a$$$, because ive never "bragged" about anything. No, im not a cheater, again, i didn't ask or illegaly boost those achievements, the hacker did. It appeared on my profile, i kept it the way it was because it didn't matter to me and i knew it was obviously the hacker's work. If I were aware my account would have been punished for that, i certainly would have called.if you look at my gamerscore..i guess about all my games...MaddenBowler10Hmm. Seems like bragging to me.

why would anyone hack a 13k gamerscore account and boost it to 70k when u can hack a 70k account? it doesnt make much sense to me. but well it sucks for you.
I doubt you even got "hacked" no one would ever jack an account with that low of gamerscore. Also people don't "hack" gamertags.. it's always some idiot that does something like go for free Microsoft points and then says oh no i was hacked!! I have also seen you brag also so I'm willing to bet you cheated your gamerscore up like I pointed out in that thread.

oh the other day i got a message from a dude in my FL saying that he could Boost my GS as much as i wanned to. so i asked him so why dont u boost ur own gamerscore( his gamerscore is 5400 or soemthing) and he said. oh i did. i mean ppl really fall for this kind of pathetic cons?
is there a rolling eyes smiley? other than that one comment, that apparently showed me "bragging" i dont think ive ever said anything about my gamerscore unless it was about my account being hacked or whatever. And no, i did not do any "free microsoft point" **** or whatever, so don't put words in my **** mouthI doubt you even got "hacked" no one would ever jack an account with that low of gamerscore. The only problem would be any kind of DLC or such that you paid for that is attached to that account. It sucks to have your account hacked, but you should probably just start a new tag. Try not to get attached to stuff like achievements, they can be fun and amusing but they're really completely meaningless and you shouldn't take them seriously.

DLC is tied to the console and profile, if its the wrong console for DLC it checks online if its the correct profile.
I have no idea why a hacker would save-cheat achievements on a stolen account.
Stop visiting sites that say you're gonna get free Microsoft points when in fact they're just there to steal your info. There's no such thing as free anything or trust me people would be Microsoft-Points-Millionaires, myself included! So don't get mad @ Microsoft when your account gets hacked, because you somehow let your info get out. Whether you got your account back or not, if anything happened on the account that broke the rules (whether in your possession or not) then you will and should be penalized. If you think using an excuse saying "someone stole your account and applied hacks to it" therefore I should be scott free, well everybody on Xbox LIVE would use that excuse and expect to be forgiven, it don't work like that. Long story short...don't give out your info because that's the ONLY way your account can get hacked and don't believe people when they say...oh there's another way because there aint!!so my gamertag was hacked like 2 months ago and i have no idea how.
