Most Epic Moments In Gaming

Here are my opinion on the most awesome moments in Xbox 360 gaming.

(No order (Add yours. These are based off the games I have played.))

P.S. - I don't know how to put spoiler warnings, so I won't put any spoliers on my picks. For those of you that have reached these parts, then proceed. Otherwise, proceed with CAUTION!!!

Andrew Ryan's Office - Bioshock

Even though this is not a XBox 360 game, the biggest epic moment was THE big secret from Star Wars: KOTOR. That was one of the hugest plot twist I've come across. For those of you that have played KOTOR, you know what moment I'm talking about. For those who haven't played it, I won't reveal what it is.

As for the Xbox 360, I liked Mass Effect's ending. It was a great conclusion to the first part of the trilogy. An epic ending.

5. The point in Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath where the entire system of play is changed. No more bounty missions, the game becomes the alien version of CoD, FLATOUT WAR. Fantastic last level and ending as well.

6. The Nuke - CoD4

7. Watching your team get shot to death, and immediately getting revenge - CoD4 (ending)

8. General RAAM - Gears of War

9. Pretty much all of Ninja Gaiden Black, but especially the boss fights.

10. Harbor Assassination - Assassin's Creed

11. First Big Daddy - Bioshock

12. Halo 3's Final level and Legendary Ending

13. Mass Effect Ending

14. You're first moments with extreme speed and jumping power (chasing frightened pirates down a hill and lunging onto them from behind before snapping their necks) - Far Cry: Instincts

15. Every single moment in Uncharted Drake's Fortune (no lie, the most cinematic experience I've EVER had the pleasure of playing).

somethings bothering me....how the HELL was the Andrew Ryan office epic....let alone "the most epic"....you show up, ***SPOILER***get disapointed by the terrible twist, and beat him with a wrench....noHungryLikeAMug

Oblivion. Killing two axe wielding barbarians with my bare hands. Hand to hand fighting ftw. :)

-Personal Experience:

Fear. I entered a stairwell trying to escape a large number of troops coming my way. As I walked towards the stair two enemies came up and stood right in front of me. I hit slow-mo and jumped over the railing and shot one with my shotgun in mid air, then landing on the opposite stair and shot the other troop in the back before he could turn around; spraying his guts all over the wall.

-Personal experience:

Rome: Total War. I made a huge strategic blunder in an attempt to capture a major city of the Huns, taking my entire army away from my capitol city and one other city. Both generals and both armies were far away from their respective cities and a couple turns away from my capitol. I had 500-800 forces in my capitol city, many of them peasants with only a few units of cavalry and archers. Multiple armies of the Huns managed to find a backroute to my capitol with a total force of 10,000 troops. I managed to hold my city and fend off the entire army, causing them to route and flee back to their homelands. It was my personal most epic moment in gaming.

That's all for me. :P

Gears of war had a few epic moments - the 1st time the sky goes dark and the krill come out, the first encounter with the beserker and the cut scene that preceded it. Was the first time i had seen visuals of that quality - genuine wow moments. Halo 3, mass effect and bioshock had their moments too

Non 360 games has to be crysis - *SPOILER (sort of)* the alien spaceship level, the escape over the bridge of the frozen mountain section when you look up and that HUGE alien ship flying over head and then the race off the island when that gigantic spider like alien machine comes crashing through the cliffside and starts chasing you down the river.

Halo 3 - The last level on legendary.
Oblivion - The final boss fight.
Half-Life 2 - Being chased through the apartments in City 17; Ravenholm; Getting the super gravity gun in the Citadel Core.

Omg this guy is so right, KOTOR's plot twist was absolutely amazing. One of the best games of all time.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - When you realized Fortune (that crazy lady with that gun) was not invincible or lucky, man that was a relief cuz she killed me sooooo many times during that first encounter. Also, Killing the Fat Guy on the Roller Blades. Also, Fighting all those Metal Gears as Raiden

Final Fantasy 8 - Finding out everyone grew up in the same orphange

God of War 2 - As soon as Kratos Kills Athena, the look on his face

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time - Fighting that Gandalf or Gondorf guy and finally killing him

King Kong - Killing a T-rex with his hands

Gears of War - the first Head shot you get with a sniper rifle and hear that "POP"

Dark Sector - Decapitating 2 or 3 People a throw stays Epic (game could have been better tho)

Assassin's Creed - Getting a perfect Kill on one of the later bosses

Just about any minute of COD 4......D Day from COD 2, Mass Effect ending, I personally loved the T-rex fight at the end of Turok, and definetly many moments in Bioshock

The ending of Mass Effect was just brilliant.

COD4, the whole game was just perfect, especially the ending and the sniper mission.

And you guys are right about KOTOR.... I remember playing that game.... It was awesome....

Final Fantasy 2(4) SNES: When Palom and Porom sacrifice themselves to save you.

Halo:CE: The first time you see the Flood; the Last level and escape.

Street Fighter 2: Pausing Chun Li in mid Spinning Star kick and getting an upskirt peek. :P

Mortal Kombat: The first time you pulled out someone's spine.

CoD4: Nuke, Sniper mission, ending.

...oh, and ET on the Atari: when you put it in and realized it was a piece of satanic mind torture.

actually, most of my epic moments happened in the halo games... in halo 1, the final level was pretty epic... in halo2, some multiplayer games that i've played turned out to be truly epic... even in halo3, all of the scarab battles were pretty intense, particularly the final two scarabs...

some moments in the CoD series were epic as well...
