Portal alone was worth the price of the whole box to me. I can't wait to play through it again, I seriously don't know how I pulled some of those levels off. It's so much fun.
HL2 is a classic and while I've already played up to Ep. 1 on PC, I am glad to see Ep.2 is translating quite nicely to the XBOX, I've only played for about 30 minutes, but I'm hooked, this episode is already 10x better than Ep.1.
All in all, this is a must have for any 360 owner. If you can't find something you like in here, you have issues.
The only game that I want to play on the orange box is portal. I already beat Half Life 2 on xbox, why do it over again?Deathballz
Portal is a game of the year candidate, but you havn't experienced Half-life 2 until you've played it the way it's meant to be played. Prettier, with less framrate issues, and it's the complete HL2 saga to date. Half-Life 2 is also a game that's meant to be played again...and again and again and again. And you're forgetting Team Fortress 2, the best and most balanced class based shooter ever.
Go get the Orange Box, there is no reason not to.

he is probably going to off himself soon
- Reduced network bandwidth usage in multiplayer.
- Improved overall game performance.
- Arranged search results to favor preferred host conditions.
- Improved searching for ranked games.
- Addressed a possible false report of too little storage space on larger hard drives.
Team Fortress 2 is amazing! Although I wish there were better people to play with online, nobody I played with really discussed tactics, and if they did talk, it was just "You guys need to do something", even though I was already getting the points for the intelligence captures.
But that's hardlythe game's fault, it's pure awesome.
I'm probably getting the Orange Box today and if anyone wants someone to play with that likes to discuss tactics then send me a friend request, my GT is Spartan2447.CommanderRipjaw
Awesome. I'll send a request later on today.
This is the best value I've ever seen for the price of one game! Everything in it is top notch.
I've played through it all except ep.2 so far. Love it!
Anyone else find that the song during the end credits of portal, although simple and rather rediculous, is oddly appealing? I constantly have it stuck in my head and I even tracked down an mp3 of it online so I could listen to it. Love that game
The Orange Box is an AMAZING PACKAGE. 5 games on 1 disc. BEST value for money.
Between Half-Life 2 and the first two episodes, you're looking at anywhere between 20 to 25 hours of some of the BEST first-person shooter action ever made. That's a lot, considering the average shooter nowadays only contains6 to 10 hours of gameplay.
Valve puts Bungie, Epic, Crytek to shame.
so who herew wishes more people would play team fortress two, the xbox 360 version i mean?
i personally believe it is a lot better than halo/unreal tournament.
