What would you say is the saddest moment in gaming?

I saw a thread on here the other day and it was about have you ever cried during a game..

So what would you say is the saddest moment?

I'd say sometime during the MGS series, probably the end of 3, that really got me :(

Me too at the end of Snake Eater. I actually got a little choked up that afternoon.

When the Master Chief is going to "sleep" while everyone on earth thinks he is gone for good.

the ending of half life 2 episode 2. yeah.... extremely depressing. not just because the game is over and we have to wait more years for episode 3 but.. im not going to spoil the end. if you know, then agree with me. its pretty sad.

For me the saddest moment in gaming was when Downloadable Content was introduced. I remember when you could purchase a game confident that the developer didn't hold back anything to charge you more money for 1 month later.

When my disc 2 didnt work for my MGS 1, Im still mad cuz I never got a chance to finish it. I hated Sniper Wolf so much and when I beat her I was like yes time to move on so I did and it was time to pop in Disc 2 and it didnt have sound and with it was time for a cutsence it went white and that was it.

My saddest moment must be when I turned on the game Hour of Victory

When Banjo and Kazooie became very box like. lol i wanted to cry.

I thought the ending to Cod 4 was sad because Not only did the marines die but also the S.A.S. except for soap. I was so happy when captain price gave me that pistol

not really sad but it creeped me out when I just to see what happens (i went back and stopped his heart) set Harold on fire. The sound really freaked me out.

My saddest moment would have to be the ending to FFVII: Crisis Core. I knew it was coming but I didn't expect it to hit that hard.

Last one i would remember is in lost odessey when the two twins mother dies, didn't cry it was just pretty sad.UnknownDarknes

I thought it was sad when miranda keys and johnson died, and everyone thinking mastercheif is dead in halo 3.

Saddest moment in gaming was after playing Two Worlds for little while, I almost cried when I realized just how terrible a piece of crap game that was, I still get choked up about it *sniff*...it just sucks so much

I haven't cried but the saddest moment is (SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY) when you have to choose who dies in Mass Effect. Or the Maria Part in Gears 2 is. But I'm surprised no one has mentioned ME.

Many moments in Lost Odyssey and also the ending of HL2ep2.

For Wii owners, it was when they found out that the motion controls for their games were not at all as good as they were hyped up to be. I found it rather amusing because all my friends who got Wiis did not have them for very long and I talked them into 360's.
