Saddest moment in gaming..?

• When in Mass Effect you had to choose between Ashley or that other guy
• Sgt. Johnson's death in Halo 3
• When Alyx's father gets eaten by one of those bug things in Half-Life 2
• When your squad is killed all around you in Call of Duty 4

For me I'd probly have to say the part when your dad gets killed in Fallout 3 was pretty sad. You spend most of the game looking for him, then when you find him he gets killed. The end of that game was kind of sad too.

the end of CoD 4 was really sad to me......

***SPOILER***on my first playthrough in mass effect i got really attached to both kaiden and ashley, and was using them both, just to be safe. then when i had to choose which one to save, it was pretty asd.

When Varren Vidic turns around and says:

I Cried

When Sig ''died'' in Jak Renegade, or mabye harvesting little sisters in BoiShock.

Kinda sad.

Dragon Ball Z Budaki (The first one/ps2) The Ending when gohan killed cell , it ALMOST made me cry because my fav cartoon show was gone. :(

I would vote MGS 3's ending or MGS 4's part with Naomi and Otacon, pretty intense stuff. Didn't cry but it distracts you from the fact that you are playing a game and with MGS 4 distracts you from the fact that you have to start fighting again.

When I got to the end of Gears 1 and I got the RROD. That was.. a sad, sad moment.

Four different parts in Gears of War 2.

#1: When Tai shoots himself in the face with a shotgun.

#2: When Carmine's stomach is bubbling because of the rock worm acid.

#3: When Dom shoots his wife in the head to put her out of her misery.

#4: When you kill the mutated Brumak with hammer of dawns. Rest in peace freaky dude.

In GTA IV, when you have the choice to kill either Playboy or Dwayne, I chose Dwayne. The following cutscene shook me to my core. Niko shoots Dwayne in the head while Dwayne says "I thought I could trust you, but you're a snake, just like everyone else.".

Actually every cutscene with Dwayne's missions are pretty sad.

Being the last one alive in the third nazi zombies with a browning mowing down zombies and ending up dying with 149 headshots and having a ray gun trying to kill the last zombie on round 14 of shi no numa and downing yourself

Letters From a Weakling was probably the saddest in my opinion, but all the dreams where pretty sad And Surprisingly well written.

For 360 when Gaz and Griggs died in cod 4 and not knowing what really happened to Price that really got me worked up, seeing as im a londoner and its the game i know with cool londoner Sas soldiers :).

For Ps3 its when i thought Snake shot himself at the end but then big boss's death pushed me and i almost cried.

For both consoles its GTA 4 when you pick deal, Seeing Roman die and then finding out about his child OMG too sad.

saddest moment in gaming... when i realized people are bashing the Xbox 360 for its red ring of death, when the nintendo wii just breaks down on you without even playing on it.

my wii is on top of the closet, no heat danger, and it just stopped and i got 3 xboxes and none of them gave me ANY problem, ever (i got 3 of the newer models tho)

the ending of half life 2 episode 2. yeah.... extremely depressing. not just because the game is over and we have to wait more years for episode 3 but.. im not going to spoil the end. if you know, then agree with me. its pretty sad.

WHEN I HAD TO KILL MY COMPANION CUBE :'(... I MISS HIM SO MUCH lol but the ending of halflife2 episode 2 was also very sadstrawberry9

first time i saw a room full of people playng abba singstar- i wept for the future of gaming

i cried at the end of snake eater and mass effect lol thought sheapard was dead /cry well and when you leave hayner pence and ollete in kingdom hearts 2 as sora lol thought that was the last time you get to see um

I cried almost every time Mario died in any any game he has been in. He is such a little trooper.

When I killed gannon the 2nd time in ocarina of time, and I knew that I would have to wait a few years until twilight princess, I started crying. I also beat Kingdom hearts 2 the day b4 the wii came out. I was so sad when I beat it. Why wont they hurry up and make another sequel. I don't want a prequal on the ds.

i think ff7 is always gonna be one of the top ones. it was one of the first in games to really get an emotional responce. ffx is very high on my list as well.kit352

I gotta say Final Fantasy or Metal Gear Solid had the saddest moments . Although , i can't pick one sad moments from all of those ..

I felt really bad for Starkiller in the Light Side ending of The Force Unleashed. I didn't cry though, it's really the only game in a long time to actually touch me emotionally.gamerfreak1991

CoD4 Ending. for some reason i find it really sad. another one should be Oblivion Ending i just beat the game like 2 hrs ago n it was really sad. its kinda weird how u get fond to some characters n u dont notice till they are gone.
