The end of Final Fantasy 8 got me. I didn't cry but I Got a little choked up. Luckly I sat through the credits and was releaved afterwords. Non character related I would have to say my game freezing during a save on 50+ hours of FarCry2. It corrupted the file and I still havn't had the motivation to start a new game after that.

I agree with most of the ones on here, the one's I have played at least. ***Spoilers ahead*** Oh, and I didn't cry for any of them. I'm way too manly. Dom and Maria (Gears of War 2) Carmine Brothers (Gears of War 1 and 2) Tai (Gears 2) Williams and Alenko (Mass Effect) Starkiller (Force Unleashed) Dogmeat (My dog in Fable 2) The real Dogmeat (All the time in Fallout 3) James (Fallout 3) Here's some I thought of myself. Probably not the saddest, but still kinda sad. Lt. Kim (Gears of War. what? no one else cared when he got owned by RAAM?) Lin (Saint's Row) Aisha (Saint's Row 2.) Carlos (Saint's Row 2. Way sadder than Lin) Your first buddy in FarCry 2 (Actually really sad.) The first mission in Splinter Cell: Double Agent and proceeding cutscene. (His rookie partner AND daughter? bummer.)

The end of MGS4, most games don't touch me emotionally but that ending really got to me probably since I've been following the series for so long.

Lost Odyssey is the only game that's ever made me cry.

When Cloud was holding Aerith in the water in FFVII. That was supernatural. It made me cry :(

One that really hit me hard was the ending to FF7: Crisis Core... I knew what the outcome was to be because I had played FF7 many times but the certain scene was played out in such a dramatic way. I didn't cry or anything, but the scene definantly left a lump in my throat at the end SPOILERS Especially the part where Zack thought of all of his friends throughout the fight, and then lastly that bit with Aerith Although I knew the outcome, I did Zack the honor of killing tons of those god dam Shinra soldiers before he was killed hehehe

**SPOILERS**

I have to agree that Gears of War 2 was chalked full of sad moments - Maria and Thai being a couple of them. But I would give my vote to The Darkness, when the Uncle Paulie guy introduces your character's girlfriend to the business end of a magnum, and all the while you are held powerless by the demons. Can't say it made me cry but I sure enjoyed taking my time on that guy afterwards!

I felt really bad for Starkiller in the Light Side ending of The Force Unleashed. I didn't cry though, it's really the only game in a long time to actually touch me emotionally.gamerfreak1991
