If they get rid of the fish eye camera it might be worth buying but that really got annoying after the first tutorial or so.

i cannot understand how people, especially real skateboarders (im not one), can dislike this demo....it's incredible, MUCH better than anything TH has released in a long time!

im buying this game for sure...i may not be a skater, but i do thoroughly enjoy skate games and i think EA nailed it with this title.

for those who skate board it is a lot more fun. I will admit I love tonny hawk, the truth is though it never had any competition. so it never really had to compete. NOw it does though, and it IS some thing they are going to compete with. When ever my friend comes over and plays tony hawk, it is really hard for him to do the insane tricks that I do. With skate though, every one has to start over , and learn a new type of game again. Its refeshing in my opion.

dude give it a chance... it's certainly not as blindly easy as TH, but i would hate it immediately if it were... after 2 play-throughs on the demo, i really got the feel for it. now the controls are second nature, much the way TH's become, and i would NEVER want to go back to the old "a-to-jump, y-to-grind" BS.

Man I can't believe this, ppl are complaining about the camera and the controls, yet ppl say blue dragon is too old school to hold up?

It's stupid, if it's too old-school, it's a fail, if it's too innovative and a little challenging, ppl get scared, I'm guessing you guys are the kind who only play on very easy or amateur difficulty setting eh?

Tony Hawk is dead to me. Skate is amazing and so realistic, Tony Hawk is just an easy button combo game.FlawlessSeasons

what this guy said, as a skater I have to say that SKATE is much more realistic than Tony Hawk and c'mon the graphics look fantastic. However, I do think there is enough room for both games to co-exist and do fine.
