Mike5000, to be fair I watched the Sony conferance and would have rated it slightly lower than Microsofts. The sony one seemed very bland with a few big highlights and that was it (just like the MS conf), the differance being I was only excited about one thing in Sonys future (NGP) and MS had a few things that held my interest.

I think they have done really well with the Mass Effect voice recognition. It might not be 'perfect' yet, but give it some time.. Its new technology, and they need time to improve it. They have plenty of time to do so, before it gets released

That new 3D TV didnt get you excited at all???? Split screen without split screen in 3D and their move is actuly backed by some core games that look like they could be enjoyed by core and casual gamers alike. The briefing might not have been exciting but what they talked about what amazing where as micrsoft I had a bunch of douchbags up there acting like there were having the greatest time of their lives looking like idiots.

Honestly no it didn't at all, as a matter of fact I remember turning to my wife and commenting on how I didn't see the big deal about 3d in games or movies because 99% of the time it's not good enough to actually make me want to view it. I don't think 3d is going to be at the quality I expect it to be for at least another 5 to 10 years. One of the biggest complaints I have with any 3d is that it's just not as sharp (you seem to lose a ton of detail, color and texture) as I want it to be before I make the switch. Not interested in the Move at all, there wasn't a single thing that the Move has shown that makes me want to put down my "classic" controller. I agree with the douchbag comment (for a lot of the MS show). It's those parts I simply tuned out. For my taste I stand by what I said.

Is it just me, or is the ability to speak a few lines in MassEffect 3 instead of hitting a button just completely underwhelming?? I that how they decided to integrate the Kinect into hard core games? Really??

It's not just you...trust me.

It's not underwhelming if you realize how terrible voice commands over microphone has always been, you guys are just wanting to hate on it is the problem.

The demo was slick, every command registered, and fast. Which is what really impressed me, if it is half as fluid as the demo was then you'll be able to effectively play the game without pulling up a single ability wheel/command screen.

I like that they didn't try to fit gesture commands or some sort of motion tracking in Mass Effect 3 as that game would just feel awkward with it. However, voice controls in addition to standard controls is perfect.

Why does everyone have to be a hater or troll whenever they don't agree with the hype someone else displays? Come on...cut it out.

Reading comprehension goes a long way, I was neither being a troll nor a hater.

Try to read it again, I guess.
