I'd buy it but i refuse to buy any newer game until i buy all of the older games i want. Luckily i'll have $160 so i can get a lot of them. Then i'll get another $60 although that's for Too human. Can't wait until i get a chance to purchase SC4 i bought Soul calibur for the arcade and it's loads of fun,

I'm buying it Tuesday, one question though

Is it a game really meant for hardcore fighting fans or will people who enjoy other game types better get a lot of fun out of it. In other words is a casual fighting fan gonna have a lot of fun with it? I've heard yes but might as well ask you

And how does the level up system in MP work.

Is it a game really meant for hardcore fighting fans or will people who enjoy other game types better get a lot of fun out of it. In other words is a casual fighting fan gonna have a lot of fun with it? I've heard yes but might as well ask you

And how does the level up system in MP work.

Well its meant for casual fighting fans but hardcore fighting fans will get most of it since they will be knowing on how to do all the moves and stuff to be honest i still dont know how to do the fatality thing:P yes there is something like a fatality and the level up system in MP works as in points ...like for example , you'll get points even if you lost ...but if you win you'll get more points and of course a better leaderboard score because when you get to fight people , other people will see how many time you won and lost....i just played a ranked match and im living in the middle east , basically i lost because i told you i didnt go deep into the moves system and learned the moves but from what i saw there isint any lag ;)

Yes the achievements are easy espically if you got friends to help you on the online achievements. :) only some of the achievements maybe either long or abit hard.

the thing about fighting games is that they are good stress releavers. what i mean is you get mad at something or some one or had a stressful day. you can put the game in and take it out on a animated persion, instead of a real live person

My last soul calibur was on the ps1:P but this just blew me away as a fighting game , its so good.

It has tons of replay value but then again you may not be a fan of fighting series

For example

- Every character has his own story mode but they all link to the same thing but every character has a different approach and ending to it.

- you finish the story mode could unlock more things for your customizable character like weapons , clothes , equipment .etc

- Online has a leveling up system so you could level up

- there is something called the tower of lost souls where you its like a survival game and you ascend or descend the tower by fighting enemies , by doing this you unlock achievements and have a good leaderboard rank

- you could create 50 customizable characters like your very own original character or customize an already made by the game character.

- there is also the arcade mode which also unlocks new characters and clothes .etc

and thats about it as you can see that is alot of replay value.

every character you finish with on story mode unlocks new weapons or clothing , as you can see on page 2 on the select character screen it has over 30 characters.

As i stated I'm still not deep into the arcade mode as i am rocking the story mode so yeah , i'll tell you if i have gotten to the arcade mode and see how it works.

ok i just checked no you cant , you only can customize the available star wars characters Yoda/The Apprientice (sp?) . [ I Think they did a smart move because if they let you make jedi's and sith it would be a star wars game since everybody would want to make them:P it would take away the feel of Soul Calibur. ]

ok so i played the arcade and the online mode , the arcade is fun but tough at times...the online is pretty awesome and solid espically with friends but play it without friends it wont be fun because you will rarely find people who play right i mean most of them stuck use the same attact as they see it gives them more advantage and just they keep pressing the same button while you see yourself fall and get up , fall and get up....some even use alot of invincibity and teleporting to the point that you just want to stand and see how he does it:P but overall its an awesome experience espically with friends...now that the game is coming soon less then a day , post your opnion about the game on here:) and tell me if you loved or liked it.

You wont be dissapointed ;) but im sad to say the online are most of people who use the same godamn move over and over again , i mean come on lets fight a real fight or something:P but anyways with friends the online is top notch , cant get enough of it.

Infact its so good that you'll forget if there is a rumble option or not but if not maybe they will release a patch or something.

I asked because I have the asian version coming but am in US. Its supposed to be region free. Guess I will see. No rumble sucks though.

Yes it does but to be honest i never though of the rumble , i mean i bought the game and literally been blown away and had so much fun with it that i forgot the feeling of rumble:P

I Dont even play fighting games:P my last one was soul calibur and tekken on the ps1 , at first i felt the controlles were abit akward but when i played it more i got the hang of it and it got awesome:D yes i totally recomended even though there are some tough moves to do but you could practice & it has alot of replay value , i stated them on one of the pages...just read more of my topic and see what you really feel if you would want to get it our not , also i said to people who will play the game to say what they think about the game.
