Well both my GF`s don't mind me playing but one of them hates it when she comes to stay and I blank her for COD3, the other is fine about it and even used to play wipeout with me on the ps2 all that time ago so she likes playing consoles np especially pandemonium and DOA.
But your GF seems to be laying down the law for you, this is not good and no way is she the one for you if she can drop you just like that over a console..pick the console and tell her its up to her, at the end of the day you will still have something to play with
Okay I am having serious girl trouble right now. :( She is not a gamer and sick of my 360, so today she has finally given me one last ultimatum: its either her or the 360. She basically wants me to get rid of my 360 and all its games for good.
I have tried to get her into playing games with me but she suffers from bad motion sickness, and even when I bought her Viva Pinata for our anniversary I was the one ended up addicted to it playing marathon sessions way into the early hours while she was asleep. The addiction got so bad that when we were together making out I couldn't get Fudgehogs out of my head. I was always thinking about the best ways to get my Pinatas to romance, so in the end she accussed me of buying myself the game when that was not the case.
Has anyone else suffered like this or been issued an ultimatum, and what the hell can I do (btw she is fit)?

keep your pimp hand strong........
Women use ultimatums all the time. It's one of their many 'Get what I want' mechanisms (you know its true ladies).
Personally I think, in so saying be aware I have no idea about you or her but if I had to guess, she's testing you. Have a sit down talk and compromise with her.
This is what I do with my wife when she whips out the ultimatums, offer her a deal like, 'I love my gaming baby, but you know I love you more. it's just a stupid hobby but if it upsets you that much I promise I will not play for one fortnight to show you I am not addicted".
Then take her out to dinner one night, leave her 'i wuv you' notes and bring home a Cosmo on the way home from work and little stuff like that (if it helps pretend your getting achievement points for it). Then after the fortnight just go back to the way things were. ;)

Ok, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Can you guys PLEASE stop making those types of generalizations?! I'm a chick, and I don't do that at all- I've never asked my boyfriend to stop playing, even when I don't particularly feel playing. And Cosmo??? Seriously, how old your wife, 14? Come on, not every woman out there is a total consumer b**** so please stop making comments as though we all are.
I'm kind of in a similar situation though I wasn't given an ultimatum. I'm in a long term relationship with a girl who doesn't play games and doesn't like them all that much either. I usually just try to play when she's not around or asleep, or busy with college work. I know its easy to say this, but she should learn to respect your gaming hobby. That is after all a large part of who you are and to ask someone to give up a beloved hobby seems wrong to me.  In the future if you were to pick up another hobby that consumed a lot of time, say reading or sports, would she demand you to give up that hobby too? Stick with the games. After all, would your XBOX360 make you choose? I think not.
either way.. you lose. ha its a woman.. thats fit.. you lose. BulletsnOctanei say thats right, i avoid them we dont need the drama. and thats all it will ultimately be a bunch of drama/
If you can't get a new girlfriend, dump the 360. if your a total stud and can easily replace her later then dump her. If she doesn't like the way you are she shouldn't be your girlfriend.

yeah that was greatis the dude who posted this ever gonna actually post what he decided to do!?Jamo10
It's already been decided... she ended up splitting up with him anyway. He's not going to post again because his account was banned (a shame, since he was a pretty funny dude).
This whole thing was resolved about a dozen pages ago and I don't know why people are still posting to this thread.
