What game or "thing" pushed you to get a 360?

i was always a sony fanboy... but then saw the price for the ps3 and then i became a 360 guy. good choices on my part love the 360. i like the ps3 too but right now its just too much money for me.

I wouldn't say that that a particular game or thing "pushed me to get one," it was just more of the fact that it was the new/next- gensystem, and I buy 'em all so....

Gears Of War

A few things helped push me, mainly Live and shooters, i love the controller when it comes to shooters so obviously Gears was a deciding factor aswell. Also looking forward to Halo 3

Because i already owned an Xbox and because of the highly upgraded XBL. Plus RB6 and Halo 3.

the simple fact that i loved and enjoyed my XBOX more than any other games console i have ever owned.

That trend continues with the 360.

WHAT MADE ME BUY A 360 WAS GEARS OF WAR.

BUT AFTER KNOWING THAT WILL COME OUT FOR THE PC THIS YEAR BUYING A 360 WAS JUST A WASTE OF GOOD MONEY THAT I WAS GOING TO BUY A PS3 WITH.:(

why do ppl keep saying dead rising? there are better games... RE5 is gonna pwn! i have to say the reason i bought mine is b/c i was confident, and still am confident, that the 360 will offer the most and the best (gamplay AND graphics) games this gen, hands-down.(Wii is awesome though youve got to admit.) I also like the windows media sharing, etc. And of course live is the best in the industry.

Well, I adored my PS2 (still do, still play it for DMC3 and God of War II). The 360 came out round 2005 and, yeah... wasn't too impressed by it so I stuck with my PS2. Also, We had an Xbox at the time which I never went on except for Halo or Dead or Alive (dissapointing console, imo). I was thinking over which console to get since the next generation of consoles is almost fully released.

I thought about getting a Wii, but the lack of games turned me off it. Thought about getting a PS3, but I damn well wont be getting that until there's a decent price drop. Then I came to the 360 again, saw a clip of Gears of War and I was quite frankly blown away by the action and graphics the game displayed. My dad asked me what I want for christmas and I told him a 360 with Gears of War.

So yeah, console comparisons and Gears of War pushed me to get a 360 :)

I figured out I needed a next gen system when I saw nba 2K7 was probably gonna be the last one on original xbox.

So then it was about ps3 or 360, and with the gears of war pack coming out when I finally had the money ready, against a not yet release PS3 it seemed like a no brainer.

And then there was perfect dark, lost planet PGR3 that make me feel happy about my choice
