What's your favorite weapon in Gears of War? Mine is probably the shotgun, just because I use it the most and get a ton of kills. If I didn't post your favorite on the poll, then post what it is. Which weapon do you like the most?

the chainsaw IS NOT an easy way to get kills. It's actually VERY avoidable but you have to know how to counter it.
Personally I like the torque bow and the shotgun.
ps. does anybody else feel like the melee on the longshot and the torque bow have a tad too much range? Sometimes I get hit with melees from like 10 feet away, not to mention you cant roll out of the way after that first smack.
I agree, if your good enough you can make someone lower the lancer and it's lights out for him. The shotgun is good but most ignorant players just try to rush you with it. i see idiots firing off randomly with it all the time. The real skill is chainsawing someone with getting killed in the process.

but it is REALLY easy to lower a chainsaw if you keep your distance. If anything it should be an easy kill for you.
Shotgun because blowing people up into little pieces up close is sooo much better than anything else except a sniper headshot. Considering the fact that im not great with the sniper im going with shottie.
torque bow... at first I didn't like it and usually went for the sniper rifle instead as a 2nd weapon, but when the Theron Guard started tagging me with the bow I got ticked off and decided to use it back on them... works awesome (especially on Boomers).
Torque Bow. It owns.On Rooftops I go for the boomshot though. Anyways here my opinion about the shotgun. Shotgun=Luck and if you are in a battle against the host the host will win. I am good with it I am just saying that it takes minimum skill.

Not really. All a shotgun battle encompasses is the two players holding down the right trigger buttion hoping they hit their opponent.

Do you swap weapons on Player Matches? There is no default boomshot on that level. :? Idk today I was playing with this group and there was a boomshot in the little house when you are starting the level. I got 11 kills with it alone. So if the weapon is there I will use it because it works.
